I'm back from doing some personal business in the family. This guy has a history of problems for a couple of years. He once ran a league where he was accused and found to be cheating in a league.

I Find it funny the guy has many different AIM address. I know of 4 for certian, and I'm sure there's a few more. I even confronted him on one of his many and he pretended THAT it wasn't him, all while talking to another league member about it at the same time. LOL.

This was posted on my league's forums from one of our owners who didnt' have his team passworded - and he also did the same thing to his former team :
For anybody who wants to take a look at the latest, and probably only real achievement that will ever come from VMLB's life, take a look at my California Roster. Yep, brought up my top prospects, raised ticket prices, the works. Well, VMLB, way to go. Like I always say, somebody always has one great standout achievement in life. Too bad yours came so early in your life. Farewell, little man. |

I don't see how anyone gives a person who cheated once before a chance in the first place.. people dont change.. the fact someone goes that far in the first place is a loser and ruins things for 20 other people... just my opinion

As far as I know, none of us in the NAHHBL really knew he was a "cheater" (first I've heard of it). All I really knew was he was the obnoxious kid who got one of the expansion teams.

whereas, i'm the obnoxious adult that got another one of the expansion teams.
i tried my best to get along with vMLB. While I obviously wasn't nearly as bothered by him as many others, if I had known about him being caught cheating or any of the other things mentioned here, I wouldn't have given him one second of my time, and I'm sorry now that I did. well, time to go download the NAHHBL file to find out what happened to my lineups!!

The maturity of this boy is severely lacking. No, we didn't know he's a cheater when he joined, but we know now as he admits to messing with California, Minnesota, Las Vegas, and now Florida. You can see his admission of immature cheating http://nahhbl.ootp-leagues.com/ikonb...t=ST;f=1;t=251 for yourself.

Hopefully 5.12 will remedy the possibility of this happening again, as owners can password-protect their online teams without having to worry about restricting other owners from useful screens like the Transactions page.
What a mess. I genuinely feel for the NAHHBL and hope you guys can undo all of the problems this troublemaker has caused. On a positive note however, the league's gotten a lot of mention in the forums because of this! |

Man, this sucks for your league Chris. I hope you can get this guy to go away. He is being a major pain in the ass.
I saw you post about passwording your league file. Here's an idea for you. Change the linkto your league file and only let the owners in your league know what it is. |

I disagree with that Andy. I'd much rather have no one talking about the NAHHBL right now than dealing with Miss VMLB - heck, no one ever talks about the NAHHBL and we've been a good league for 10 seasons now.

NCAAmadman (3:28:25 PM): im moving on, i got college now. i dont need to worry about this crap
NCAAmadman (3:28:41 PM): its a frickin ootp league, i cant believe i got so mad over this budsamford23 (3:28:43 PM): well maybe college can teach you some maturity. good luck. NCAAmadman (3:31:07 PM): im not sure if those ip threats will work NCAAmadman (3:31:21 PM): as i will be on a different service provider budsamford23 (3:31:57 PM): well i'm sure if you just disappear and stop harrassing people it won't matter anyways and you won't have to worry about it. NCAAmadman (3:31:57 PM): either way, im moving on bud NCAAmadman (3:34:07 PM): this is the last day of aol NCAAmadman (3:34:23 PM): classes begin tomorrow morning, and thats when i move in NCAAmadman (3:50:50 PM): whys chris so mad budsamford23 (3:51:25 PM): gee, why do you think? budsamford23 (3:51:41 PM): you ****ed with his league, of course he's pissed NCAAmadman (3:52:02 PM): how NCAAmadman (3:52:06 PM): i didnt close it NCAAmadman (3:52:30 PM): if i did anything, i helped him budsamford23 (3:52:53 PM): yeah but you screwed with three teams lineups. in the course of that it assigned salaries to prospects, and started major league clocks. he's going to have to go back and manually fix all that. you've caused him a lot of extra work. NCAAmadman (3:53:26 PM): he thinks i damaged the credability of his league lol NCAAmadman (3:54:32 PM): if i did anything i helped him NCAAmadman (3:54:40 PM): this whole fiasco has drawn interest to the league budsamford23 (3:54:40 PM): how's that? NCAAmadman (3:57:52 PM): whys he changing everything around NCAAmadman (3:57:58 PM): the forums are inaccesible NCAAmadman (3:58:04 PM): people are emailing him files NCAAmadman (4:00:12 PM): one little incident and he's changing the league completely NCAAmadman (4:00:14 PM): im baffled budsamford23 (4:01:37 PM): i wouldn't exactly describe it as "little". you got what you wanted, you disrupted the league, so you can be happy about it. NCAAmadman (4:01:54 PM): your not mad with what i did are you? budsamford23 (4:03:05 PM): yes of course i'm mad. i'm also mad about the other things i've learned from the thread on .400. NCAAmadman (4:03:15 PM): what things budsamford23 (4:04:03 PM): that you have been accused of cheating in the past, that you have folded leagues without even letting the GM's know, that you have basically been a problem whereever you have gone. http://www.400softwarestudios.com/bo...threadid=38775 NCAAmadman (4:04:04 PM): you dont have anything to be mad about NCAAmadman (4:04:08 PM): you werent affected budsamford23 (4:04:41 PM): you changed my lineups didn't you? you disruped a league that I participate and spend time in didn't you? how was i not affected? everyone in the NAHHBL was affected NCAAmadman (4:06:04 PM): he'll change them back i think NCAAmadman (4:06:20 PM): what cant he fix? budsamford23 (4:07:04 PM): well he can't change the fact that prospects played in major league games. he can credit them an extra year, but he can't change history. NCAAmadman (4:08:17 PM): see, no damage done NCAAmadman (4:08:47 PM): nobodys quit over this budsamford23 (4:09:38 PM): nope and nobody will. you still could've been a man about it and not try and disrupt something just because you were asked to leave. NCAAmadman (4:09:51 PM): i dont see how i disrupted it NCAAmadman (4:09:56 PM): i onl ychanged 3 teams files NCAAmadman (4:10:00 PM): *only budsamford23 (4:11:15 PM): well, you disrputed 3 teams who are a part of a league. other teams played those three teams who were not at full strength lineups. so you potentially affected up to 15-20 teams and the credibility of the divisional races for the season. |

yep that's essentially the same crap he tried to give me. First, he said how sorry he was and we should just move on and be friends. Then he says screw that, I should be thanking him as he helped my league get 'interest' and I should reward him for this, then he goes on to say that he didn't even do what he's accused of and I should apologize for accusing him of this, and finally he comes back to saying he's sorry. The guy has serious mental problems. It's unbelievable how many faces this guy has.

I know that people dont like to set team passwords, but this is an excellent example of why you should.

Sighs. I guess immaturity, lack of common sense, and irrational behaviour is ingrained in the DNA on this.
Each day gives us a new outlook. I hope the mess can be fixed, that is a sad thing that someone feels they can thwart the system and cause problems. You can bet Steve and Scott are all over this.
