- MLB coaching staff ** DONE **
- Player Popularity ** DONE **

- Ratings for AAA and AA to be appropriate for each level ** DONE **

Still pending


- Misc checks (usually involves reviewing the big picture - ratings by position etc)

If I have time I’d like to at least get Top 100 Baseball America 2026 draftees. TBD.

I need to do some overall checks, then run statistical outputs.
More than likely that will push us to Monday 7/21 for release.

Also of note…

I used FanGraphs to find around 300 (!!!) players sitting in live start as “free agents” and assigned to correct team. In some cases I had duplicative names and had to re-check those.

For instance for the Live Start / All Draft roster set I’m working on, I had to “add/create” at least 200 players. Their ID’s will be different I’m assuming if it’s another live start vs OOTP official roster set versus my Universe.

I started my league with the 2019 season. I am currently in 2054, so I have missed about a generation of players. Being able to import your files as free agents would allow me to some what catch up. If you to anyone else can think of any way I can do this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have one concern after looking at your file, there is well over a 100 very good 2026 draft prospects and in some cases, even 2028 incoming freshmen that were eligible for the 2025 draft that have been dumped into free agency. I worry that this sudden influx of free agent talent is going to mess the AI up big time. Was this tested out?

You want to unzip it so the .lg folder from the download ends up in your saved_games folder.

If you have any previous saves you can find saved_games quickly by selecting LOAD GAME from the Main Menu, then the Open Folder button. Go up one folder and boom, you're in saved_games.

I always say “never say never” but once I’m back from vacation I plan to start up a team with this save. More than likely on my personal file I’ll make moves, but I do not anticipate basically this file being updated to standings/stats as of August 1.
