I totally agree that there should be daily matchups and themed challenges and missions to keep the community engaged and make it easy to jump in and play. However, since we also have 124 seasons of baseball I would like to have the option for the user to create their own matchups too.

I think it could be a ton of fun and generate new customers. I want to see a world leaderboard of OOTP users playing this mode. I do enjoy playing out games, but we all know how much of an investment in time it is to play through 162 games with a single team and hope you make the playoffs. With something like this, we would get to play out games but with new historical teams for every challenge while having every decision count for our managerial rating.

Strange thing is, I just don't enjoy managing one team in a league, as I always feel like I'm missing out on all the other teams/players in the league. For this reason I end up just running my leagues as a super fan or a commissioner. The reason I think I will really enjoy your new mode is, I will simply be able to sit down and manage 5 or 10 random games and then go back to watching games as a fan.

i love this. i long have wanted new game modes id actually be into that involve historical. this is really cool and much more appealing to me than the PT stuff.

I don’t mind the idea, but leaderboards in almost every game get hacked and cheated within the first day.

I am having trouble thinking of a single game that does not have the leaderboard compromised in some way.
