It looks like the FHM Twitch stream on Wednesday isn't labelled as being a continuation of the Penguins ongoing series: I'm hoping we get the announcement, followed by a trailer post, during that.

I'm pretty confident we get a trailer with release date to kick off this weeks Twitch stream. Then next week they do a deep dive with game possibly launching a day or two later. Nothing confirmed, just my guess.

If you go to the schedule on Twitch, you can see it. Last week's stream was labeled as part of the Penguins series. This week's just says FHM 10 Stream.

Comparing EA to OOTP is way unfair to FHM. EA NHL is backed by a huge corporation and has far more developers and resources available to them compared to either of the OOTP products. They are able to release their products at the beginning of season for these reasons.

It’s a yearly sports game for a professional sports league. That said sports league starts every season in sometime in October. It’s not like the start of the season snuck up on them. You’d think to capitalize on the excitement of the opening day/week they be releasing info. Up till FHM 7, it was released within first 10 days of October.

Only after covid did it move to end of October or early November.

some people here would really hate the F1 games since they release about 1/3 of the way through the season for the racing game and 1/2 for the management sim

Agreed. Also don't understand why any updates are only told to the community through a random stream instead of steady updates on social media. Having to catch these streams that are delayed and always late at night just to get updates is a little ridiculous.

Yeah, agree info being dropped in at random points of an hour long YouTube video isn't the best way to communicate updates. I don't think it's deliberate, it's a small company and I just don't think they consider these things or are marketing savvy.

Agree 1000000000% to this. What percentage of your user base watches a weekly hour long stream? Probably very very small. Not sure why you don’t utilize your official forum for news and information.

That's interesting if that's true. I mean they've been releasing on Steam forever, so wonder why Steam would reject it now. I admit I prefer steam, due to drag and drop lineups (not sure that's ever been fixed in FastSpring version)


But If that's true, why not post that here? Or on Twitter, which is nothing but posts for there weekly live steam.
