I actually want to try both! I saw a YouTube video with a quick replay and that was cool. Then I heard the same guy talking about replaying a season game by game (he was a former strat player too). So I want to do both!

When I started playing OOTP about 15 years ago, I found some templates made by others in the "add-ons" folder on the home screen. I found some that were a single season (1921 Yankees) and others that were historical teams in a tournament format (Great Teams Tournament-GTT) or teams of the best players in team history from all eras (Cooperstown Baseball League-CBL). These are no longer available through add-ons, but there are undoubtedly places on the internet where you can find some pre-made leagues that you could use before going to the trouble of building your own league. As a Yankees fan myself, I love playing games in which Mantle, Jeter, Mattingly, DiMaggio, Ruth, Gehrig & other greats behind Whitey Ford or Ron Guidry.

That would be awesome! Does anyone know where I might be able to find templates such as mentioned in the above response? As always, I am very appreciative of the response and all the help this great community has been giving me.

OOTP Mods: Rosters, Photos, Quickstarts: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...lay.php?f=3638

You may need to set the forum to look a few months back rather than the usual 10 days, if you want to dig deeper, though the further back you go the more likely you'll encounter dead links.

EDIT: I'm also not seeing a lot of OOTP 25 compatible Quickstarts ... the one I really wanted to try said it was made with OOTP 19 when I tried to load it lol

Hey, grtwhtsk168 and jksander.
I have created two Quickstart games.
One is titled Field of Dreams and features the best players from the history of each team to play each other. It was originally created around 2009, so you may want add players (Judge, Ohtani, etc.) who have established themselves as eiite players in the last 15 years.
The other is titled Great Teams Playoffs and has 128 teams from the past playing each other to see who's the best. Want to see the 1906 Cubs playing the 1927 Yankees, or 1961 Yanks against the 1994 Braves? Again, you can add players to any and all teams or eliminate a team and replace it with a more recent favorite. (Because of the schedule I'd advise keeping the number of teams in each division the same.)
Also, be advised that some unknown Yankee fan may have tweaked the stats of the Yankee players a bit (or a lot) so you may have un tweak them.
I also have world templates for both games.
Unfortunately, I cannot attach them to this post. If anyone has a place where I can leave them so others can take them, I'll be glad to post them.
I just discovered I have a Google drive; after I figure out how to use it, I’ll post them there.
