I'm sure that the new Mac Book has different security than the old one, and especially on a new system, it may actually just be a matter of updating the OS or security definitions, which is not always done out of the box when you get a new system.

Can you try installing OOTP25 on your old system you had OOTP23 on and see if it works there?

I don't have my old MacBook Pro anymore, traded it in as part of the new purchase.

I also went into my router settings and disabled the firewall completely and validated that in my network settings on the Mac that the firewall is disabled.

Neither working and PD just crashed again and card images didn't load.

Looks like Mac users are just out of luck this season and will just be playing offline.

Slight update - I opened my 25th anniversary pack and it also crashed multiple times. Similar to the PD, so I think that's what might be broken is the choice packs or multiple selectors causing the crash.

All of those are the issues Ive been facing Tshelton11566, OOTP24 still works for me just fine. I thought maybe that would do it, I also deleted 24 just to see if that worked, nothing. We are one in the same on this, let me know if you find a cure, I will as well

It's not a Mac wide problem, the majority of folks on Macs do not have this happening.

It's definitely something related to specific security settings but unfortunately as I mentioned, that's something basically impossible for us to troubleshoot for you

At least with the troubleshooting you've already done, it seems you can pretty much eliminate the router firewall as being the issue, which means this is almost certainly something on the local machine itself.

The next step would be to make sure the Mac OS is fully up to date, which should also update your anti-virus definitions that are built into the MacOS.

If you have a firewall running on the system itself, please try turning that off as well.

I was able to get the card images to load and complete a PD.

I connected to my phone hotspot and didn't have an issue, but that doesn't make any sense since I have had the same router and provider when I was playing OOTP 23.

Hopefully something is updated to fix the issue in a future patch otherwise I'm not connecting to a hotspot just to play PT and do a PD, that's going to eat up way too much data on my hotspot.

Hey, everyone. It appears using a hotspot has worked for some but not others. I had another person who happened to be at a relative's house and things were working fine. I passed on more info to the devs from to see if there are any changes that would be a difference between 24 and 25. The team is working hard to try to sort this out.

We'll try to have more information soon.

Also, I just want to note that Lukas isn't a developer, and he's one of the most valuable members of our team. We're all trying to help, so we kindly ask that you work with us as we gather information to take to the dev team.

Hi all. I am on a Mac and was experiencing the same issues described above - no card images, PD crashing - and had never had these issues on previous versions of OOTP. No idea how or why this worked for me, but I connected to my Internet (Xfinity) via a VPN, restarted the game, and the problem(s) have resolved. The card images are all there and no crashes whatsoever over the last hour. Just a suggestion to troubleshoot in case it helps anyone else.

Yes, I have tried the troubleshooting.

I have a MacBook Pro, software up to date.

No card images, Perfect draft crashes during draft.

I just saw another response about using a VPN, so I did and it works perfectly now!
