A request for some team-related sets

I'll try my hand at some Halifax Schooners jerseys in a couple of days. I'm just a little burnt out of making team sets at the moment. In the meantime, I would recommend trying your hand at making jerseys with Hockey13Playa's jersey template. I'm not sure how well-versed you are with graphic design but you can use any of Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.net with plugins to create your own designs so you don't have to be so reliant on others and have to wait around for people to complete your requests.

Take whatever time you feel you need, then, Greenert11. It may be a little while before I play that particular dynasty again here, though, because I don't yet know if I'll need to go back to a point before I turn the Maroons into the Limers, for sure. If I do, then I will likely have to go back to 1937, at the latest, and then try and replay the last dozen or so seasons from that point on, seeing as I've gotten as far as 1950 by now.

The Giants or Keystones will likely be the next team that will need at least one era-related set for them, of the fictional expansion teams I added to the relevant dynasty between 1937 and 1950, if I'm not too mistaken here. I'd have to check to be sure about that here, but I think the Giants started circa 1939 or so, if memory serves me correctly. If they're the first of the fictional teams I added to the NHL, then I believe the Keystones came into the NHL between them and the Bulldogs.

When the Schooners are done, whether or not I'm able to make the necessary alternate items for them here, I'll let everyone know which team is next on my list here, of course. Probably the Giants. The Giants' current logo is one from TrapperJohn's Continental Baseball League-related quickstart, I believe, mostly in green and orange, if I remember correctly. Please stay tuned for further information as I can provide it related to any teams I may need some items for later on, okay? Maybe I can mock up some baseball-related items that you could probably use as a basis for inspiration, if at all possible and all. Supposing logos and all haven't already been done for them, in a hockey-related style of some sort, that is, of course.

I added the Thunder Bay Giants in 1939, the Harrisburg Keystones in 1942, and the Duluth Bulldogs in 1945, it seems. But let's just see what we can possibly get done somehow with the Schooners first, before the Giants are ultimately tackled next here by anyone, so to speak, if we can, folks.

Once the Schooners have enough items done for them related to at least one or two eras, we can move to the Giants here, I think. And so on, as time then allows and all, no doubt, for any other team that may eventually need items done for them as well, if they're not already made somehow by anyone.

The Halifax Schooners' blue alternate should preferably be similar to the visible ones seen earlier in this thread, I think, for at least one team-related era of theirs. The silver AKA gray one probably shouldn't have a chest logo, though, but just text as described here, most likely, for at least one era. I'm not quite sure at all just what the actual font on the applicable logo currently is, and I haven't been able to find it out yet, either, it seems. Just so you all know this here well enough, folks.

Now I could perhaps use a blue uniform for the Schooners similar to the other uniforms already present here or to those in Pwal's relevant thread, or similar to these baseball team-related items I recently made, most likely, and then we'd perhaps be done with them, at least for now, I think.

After the Halifax Schooners are done here well enough, I suppose we could move on and try to do some good items for the Thunder Bay Giants, at some point. If memory serves me correctly, either low or TrapperJohn did some baseball team-related items for those Giants, if they both didn't do such items. Certainly at least one of them did such items, though, in any case.

Here are some baseball team-related items I made earlier that you might hopefully be able to get some inspiration from, and we also could use some suitable enough helmets here, of course, for the Halifax Schooners, I'm sure. Please feel free to take whatever time you think that you might then need and want to do these next items for the Schooners sufficiently well here. Thank you. CD out.

P.S. I'm not quite satisfied with the blue uniform I made earlier that's similar to the two other uniforms in white or orange I've already posted here, and I can't currently try to remake it with the same version of FHM Sweater Factory that I created the first two items with, unfortunately. But if you could somehow use these images here as possible inspiration and all, and/or make a Halifax Schooners silver or gray uniform with diagonal text as described earlier instead of a chest logo, at least, that would be quite nice too here, for sure. Greenert11, have you been able to make any more progress related to the Schooners yet, by any chance? Just wondering, you see. I'd really like to be able to see items done for the Schooners and Giants and Keystones, at least, if possible, by my birthday on February 11th, somehow, helmets-related or not, for sure.

As soon as the Schooners are finished enough to satisfy me here, then I'll gladly post what I'd already have for the Thunder Bay Giants at that time, in hopes that their own current looks can be significantly improved, if at all possible. I'm not all that sure that their current looks are the best possible looks they can have for themselves, either now or in the near future or in the recent past, just yet, you see.

As for the Harrisburg Keystones, hurricanekevin did the related logo or logos that I'm currently using for them, I believe. And once the Thunder Bay Giants are done sufficiently well, I'll post what I'd then have for them in turn. After that, what I'd then have for the Duluth Bulldogs, even if I'd have to wait until sometime after my birthday for their related items.

I don't think I'd want the Duluth Bulldogs to look entirely like the related college teams have done in the past, or do now. But I still do think that I'd most likely want their looks to be at least somewhat similar to what the real-world University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs have previously worn in various leagues, or to what they're wearing now, in any case, for sure.

If you might possibly somehow need the relevant color codes or certain imagery and all for the applicable teams to be posted here, then please let me know, and I'll see what I can do and find for you in such related matters, of course. As of late my schedule has been quite hectic traveling with my hockey team and finding the right balance between work and personal commitments. I encourage you to try out the FHM Sweater Factory desktop app, as it’s a fantastic tool that many others have found helpful for completing these specific requests. No worries, I understand quite a bit that certain things can get rather hectic for people in their lives. Especially when you don't know just what might happen from day to day for you or those around you. For myself, I don't really know just yet exactly how certain things are going to go for me in the future, or for my elderly parents, with one being in a care center of some sort due to his likely severe Alzheimer's condition at present, for example. There are still quite a lot of things that most definitely have to be worked on related to my parents and/or to me, at least, in the near future, if they haven't been worked on here enough already.

So I can most certainly understand how certain situations might be rather hectic at times for many people in their own lives. If you don't really think you can do at least one more team's sets by my birthday, or somehow be able to do any more potential items for the Halifax Schooners by then, I do totally understand that, and I do accept it. But if you can and want to, sometime later on, I'd still appreciate it greatly if you could do more such wonderful work here for any of my teams that might yet need to be done, even if it's not done by my birthday. I will probably try to do more graphics work for various teams, whether baseball or hockey-related, soon, but I don't know just when and what that graphics work may be just yet, for various reasons.

Yes, finding that proper balance to various things in one's life is quite important. It's often very tricky to find it, whether you're older or you're younger in your life, for sure. But it's something people still need to work on day by day in their lives, somehow, in any case, no matter what is then going on for them and/or certain other people in their own lives, or even anywhere in the world, for that matter, in any case.

Please take care and all, as best as you possibly can, and if you actually do somehow help me again in the future, with any team or league-related items of any sort, then great. If not, then so be it. You're still doing great work on your various hockey-related items here, I think, Greenert11. I hope to see a lot more of it in the future, if possible.
