I sort of doubt it...although I really am wondering "Where does OOTP go from here?" Do people here really believe they are going to somehow acquire all of the necessary licenses to continue with a global baseball game?
I think OOTP is going to be much smaller (if it wasn't already) in nature going forward. If it was a niche product a year ago, it's really going to be one going forward I think. It's basically going to be an MLB and fictional/historical game I think. I already don't see the need for KBO now that all of the other international leagues are gone. It's really pointless. They would be much better coming up with a new system for creating international players (actual stats and history and and an international draft...similar to the way college and high school players are now) to sign as IEFA and be posted using the new posting model and rules for leagues such as LMB, ***, KBO, CPBL and potentially Cuba in the near future.
SO if you aren't going to have the actual leagues..make the front office stuff dealing with international players as realistic as possible...since now you don't have to deal with the living breathing leagues.
I bering all of this up because I would say to do the same for college and high school players. There are just way too many colleges and high schools to actually have a living, breathing feeder world. If done correctly though, I think it could still be very engaging from a front office perspective.
