When I've used purge I haven't had DB problems as such but it sure goofed up the HoF/retired numbers, those didn't update. I forget which version that was, I haven't used it since v.18 maybe.

I usually set inflation for every league to 2%. That goes for Independent & International leagues. (and MLB obviously) My idea is to set it and forget it. I don't want to have to play around with settings or financials at any other point than just at the start of the league. (unless somehow a real world rule came into play)

I find the history of each player to be compelling, along with the idea that players aren't just sitting in FA.

I do like the idea of having all of the rules as accurate as OOTP will allow, as well as having the correct teams, ballparks, etc...
