It is very important to keep in mind that Perfect Team is a card game first, and a baseball simulation second. The team does a good job of having quality cards available in packs but you will not be successful without staying up on the missions throughout the year (unless you are a whale who is willing to drop serious cash on the game). If you are patient and plan ahead, you can take advantage of the inflated market when new missions are dropped by selling cards and then swoop in later when the market settles to buy them for less.

Some people want that "I win" button and don't want to work for it. That's how they get it. Their choice, doesn't mean I have to like it because it means I waste a week because I can't compete with them.

Hey, at least it means revenue for the team to keep improving the game. For that reason, I will never disparage the whales. Also, Markus deserves everything that he gets after putting his heart and soul into the game for twenty years.

I'll never disparage the whales themselves, but I'll continue to disparage those who exploit the mentally vulnerable to create many of them, and both deprive them of money and worsen any addictive or other disorder they may suffer from. Don't kid yourself.. that's an integral part of the industry strategy despite denials to Congressional committees and so forth. There's even a notorious Ted Talk online in which one of the bigger gaming company execs even admits it.

As to Markus, how much of a slice does he get after OOTP was sold to that Korean operation; and how much of that money actually gets put back into development? I might ask that again when OOTP finally gets the new in-game graphics engine it's desperately needed for years.

As we say in the UK, cobblers. The uncapped 10SP silvers kick off within a few minutes, provided all the Americans aren't asleep. Gold isn't a lot longer, and neither wait is much compared with the duration of any tourney you get a result in. Not to mention, you actually have a little time to make any changes or tweaks.

Still... each to their own .
