Is that all I need to do? Also, would it only work at the creation of a new game?

Hmm. Well, I had two readme files. That one was supposed to be with the steam item. I had another for then ZIP.

YUoi need to extract the zip file to your out of the park baseball 22/data directory.

If you are creating a new game the parks should sho up automatically when you load it up.

If you have an existing game. You need to load the parks manually by going to the park editor and selecting the manually import park from file option.

Amazing!

Got it working and, wowza, thank you so much! This will save me the tedium of going team by team to install your stadiums. It was for even more than the aesthetics - wanted the stadiums' park factors to match real life.

(One quick note, if I may: The home dugout for Dodger Stadium is on the third-base side.)

I created a separate folder for my prk files (not the ones that come with the game) inside the ballparks folder. Otherwise, the ballpark folder gets so cluttered you can't find anything. Also, save yourself some navigating and add the OOTP folder to the right-hand edge of your Dock...set it to come up as a grid and act as a folder and you'll be able to quickly access everything.

Great idea, thanks! (Although I'm no longer sure which prk files came with the game - may need to do a reinstall.)

As for my OOTP folder, I've got it in the sidebar of Finder windows.

For whatever reason, the prk files in a separate folder freaked out the game, so I ended up with their correct names - but not the stadiums themselves. A re-install has cleared things up, though.

I downloaded and installed the Double A ballparks mod from the Steam workshop, but can't find 14 of those ballparks...6 from Double A Central, and all 8 from Double A South...none of the ltadiums match the names listed for those 14 ballparks. I've researched them online for possible previous names, but am still unable to match any.

Just wanted to stop in and say thank you so much for this. I've never bothered with any mods since I'm really not technically inclined, but have been playing for years and kind of tired of playing 1920's teams in 2020's ballparks. Downloaded today and looking forward to a whole new level of enjoyment.

Just an update. I am uploading a new version of the mod with some improvements to some parks and an updated version of the era_ballparks file.

There were some smaller updates here and there, but the big thing in this release is I rebuilt the Braves Field versions from scratch. Just think that one needed a nice once over.

I will post the new link when it is available.

One other thing. I created a spreadsheet that depicts the entire history of each franchises ballparks from 1901- present and breaks it up into the actual versions I created that come in the mod. It also shows the history of each franchises' name changes during that span.

There is a lot going on in this spreadsheet, but I think it is a useful tool for those who might like to see what park changes will be coming up as you sim your historical game.

I have included this in the update and can be taken out of the zip separately or can be found in the main data directory of your game when extracted
here are some screens of it.
