Patch Download Link

I am getting a Failed - Network Error when trying to download the Patch released via the pop-up message. Interesting thing is that when I got the initial email for the Beta version pre-launch, there were the three server links. I got the error message clicking the first two links but the third worked so I didn't log anything then.

Any recommendations of things I need to do on my end?

It just closes the program


When I go back in the screen is frozen and no names show up on the screen


And then the whole program shuts down

Does anyone know how I can fix this crash? I’ve tried multiple suggestions from the tech/bug list on the forum and it still doesn’t seem to work. https://imgur.com/gallery/tjqZBMI

When/where does this happen in-game? What are you usually doing in-game just before it happens, and is it always in the same spot?

System restart or try a different browser would be my initial thoughts.

5x over today (twice) and yesterday (3x) the game just unexpectedly closed. Both times today were when I was in PT (one when clicking on pack opening, another when clicking into Card Collection).

Yesterday I know one of them I was in an online league file, don't quite remember what I was doing for the other two (they were the first two so I wasn't paying attention yet)

Just had another, when clicking "return" or whatever the button is, after opening a pack

Having an issue when loading on MacBook Air M1. Game loads up to the main screen, but it just sticks on the trying to connect online. So, I cannot even connect to perfect team. When loading a saved game, it loads but freezes. I have to force shut down.

1. tried to uninstall and re-install
2. verified that my OS is up to date

The most likely culprit here would be an anti-virus or firewall program that's blocking OOTP from connecting to the PT servers. So the first thing to do would be to make sure OOTP is whitelisted in any of those programs that are running on your system.

If you're using a VPN, sometimes it can help to turn that off as well, though it's less likely that's the issue.

If you still can't connect after trying that, then please submit a support ticket (or via email at support@ootpdevelopments.com) so the support team can do some more advanced troubleshooting with you.

I'd recommend submitting a support ticket here as well, as per my reply to the post above. The support team can go through some more in-depth troubleshooting with you to hopefully get this figured out.

This is my issue on my desktop computer ...... the game seems to work find on my laptop
This is the message ---

ootp22_x64 has stopped working correctly,
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Thanks. Filed a ticker last night.

No antivirus or firewall on, gives me the same issue, First release or two worked great, the newest one has been an issue.

What are you doing in-game just before this happens? Or does the game never load up at all and you just see this when you first try to start the game?

This is probably another situation like the last couple above where submitting a support ticket (or via email at support@ootpdevelopments.com) will be the quickest way to get things resolved.

world_default.xml error?

I can't load the game ... gives me a "world_default.xml" error ... says I might be using an older version.

I have no idea what this means. I might have clicked a button somewhere in my endless attempts to get historic player photos to load.

Help!

Does anyone know how to revert to a prior version of OOTP22? Mine worked fine until this last version, small sample I know, but nothing has changed on my end. No new downloads etc.

Update: Since my MacBook was new, I completely erased the Mac and started over. No anti-virus, confirmed firewall was off. Still crashes/freezes and does not connect to the internet.

Edit to my edit. Finally got the game to load and play in mobile hotspot. Makes me think that this is a router/isp issue, but I find that hard to believe that a new update would cause the issue. The Beta and first download worked flawlessly but something on the newest version is not being accepted.

*I installed the game on my Win 10 PC (desktop) and received the same issue.

Makes me very curious as to why this program is being blocked.

Game Crashes During Offline Mode

I'm playing Build 34 on a Mac running MacOS 10.15.7 (the latest mine can do). I started a "new standard game." After setting my roster, etc. I want to begin the season. However, I don't want to actually enter the game and simulate it from there. I want to simulate the entire game, so I instead go to "Play"->"Finish Today!" and the game crashes.

Are you able to actually enter the game and play it out without a crash or does it crash there too?
