Roster set issues (MLB / MiLB / International / Indy leagues) go here! - Page 2

Not really sure if it is a roster problem but several college players with eligibility previously on the game last year are removed from this edition. Is the only way to get them back on this version is to manually edit them on tge previous version and re-insert them into this one?

Hopefully right area for this –

I've started two different games in order to sim the 2021 season and both times all 30 teams used a 3-man rotation for the whole season. In 2022, teams went back to using 5-man rotations.

Not the right place, but since I see it here, what league is this and what game type did you specifically create? In other words, can you give me step by step instructions on how to recreate this? Thanks!

Long story short, yes. We'll continue working on the player pools for the future drafts and that should likely add a few guys back in and also add a lot of fresh guys too, so keep an eye on that.

Are you talking about current or potential ratings? And have you turned scouting off?

He's actually rated for me as 2.5 stars current and 4 stars future. Typically only the rarest of prospects get 5 stars in our matrix.

Franco, Rutschman and Witt are the only 3 as of now and Witt is maybe too high. Kelenic is actually rated as the 4th best prospect overall in the game, falling just behind those guys, but really quite close, more so than you might think from a difference of one star.

Keegan Thompson seems to have a random MLB season in 2014. Then starts in A- in 2017.

I believe that's actually HS stats from back when we added those in for some prospects years ago, but it's entered in the db weirdly which makes it look like an MLB line.

Anyway, I got rid of it.

Hi team, excited on this new ver!! Some things I have found are:
MIA:
- Anthony Bass (MIA)' 3rd year team option comes with $1M buyout and Adam Duvall's option comes with $3M buyout too.
- Richard Bleier and Starling Marte don't have stats for 2020 MIA

OAK:
- Jake Diekman's option comes with $750k buyout
- Trevor Rosenthal doesn't have stats for SD last year (I kinda think players who got traded last year don't have stats for their new team?)
- KA'AI Tom is on IL in the game but he has been recovered from the injury and playing ST games in the real world.

Welp, tried to recreate a couple of times with New Standard Game and couldn't! Hopefully just an anomaly! If I see it again, I'll be sure to check in.

One thing I've noticed is that many if not all of the players who were traded during the 2020 season only have stats from their original team (ex Rosenthal only has KC stats, La Stella only has Angels stats, Starling Marte only has diamondback stats, etc)

A+ West is the Northwest League, but uses CAL history
A+ East is the Sally League, but uses CAR history
A+ Central is the Midwest League, but uses FSL history
A- West is the California League, but uses MID history
A- East is the Carolina League, but uses SAL history; and
A- Southeast is the Florida State League, but uses MID history

This creates a problem if you try to change the league names and abbreviations in anticipation of what they should be. For example, Lakeland will be shown as having been in the Midwest League for 2019 and West Michigan as having been in the California League when hovering over a player name in the roster screens. (If you open up the player page, however, it will correctly display Lakeland as being a A+ team in 2019 and WM as being an A team.)

Also "Low-A Southeast" appears below rookie leagues in the game creation wizard, the history index, and the almanac, if there's a way to fix that.
