I've noticed a mirror effect on the front of the jersey in some shots. Mostly see it at first base with the zoom shot catching the runner coming to the base. I've also seen it in right field on a close up. The script "Phillies" is mirrored. The sleeve patch is on the wrong sleeve. This is from a Mod uniform but it also does it with the OOTP uniform from the game. I will post a screen shot from a modern game when I get a chance. This is to show what I'm talking about. Latest patch, not fixed.

I created this stadium in the Construction Kit, foul poles were there. Then they weren't in game play. My drivers are up to date. Not sure if I missed something or this is a bug (if it's already reported, I didn't see it):

I'm following up on the "Player Labels in Modern 3D View" thread from the General Discussion forum, which relates to badly placed player labels on the playing field. As requested, I am included a trace taken when playing a game on an iMac WITHOUT Low Resolution selected.

Not 100% sure where to put this, so will post in several different places.

My latest problem concerns the ballpark construction kit. Everything works fine until I am ready to save a created ballpark. Then, I have no SAVE button. Have been told there should be a green button below the league and city choices on left side of screen (vaguely remember that in 21). However, the scroll will only go about 1/2" below those choices for me and stops. Immediately below is the section for camera angles, etc. There is no SAVE button. Someone suggested I try screen or resolution changes. I have been using OOTP22 in default screen size. When I tried to switch to maximize or various other sizes, the right side of the ballpark construction screen (where the image of the stadium is) goes completely black with a smaller white box in upper right corner. Still, no SAVE button. There are also some issues for me in live play screen images if I use anything but the default setting.

I am using a 2019 MacBook Pro with Big Sur OS11. Have used MacBooks for years and never had many issues with OOTP. In just these first few weeks of OOTP22 I've had more problems than I've ever had, and I go back to OOTP7.

Any help will be appreciated.

Most trouble I've had with a new version in a long time, and first time I've been unhappy with the project in many years. It's just been one annoying little thing after another, with this the latest.

Now not hearing anything ... crickets.

Disappointed.

I don't think this thread is being watched much. I had a question almost a week ago and got nothing. Back to 2D gameplay for the time being.

There's a reply here. Generally it's better to just post in one spot. Easier for everyone to keep track of. Posting in multiple spots actually won't get a quicker response.

At any rate, I would ultimately suggest you'll want to open a support ticket (or via email at support@ootpdevelopments.com) for this as it seems like a possible resolution conflict between the game and your system, rather than a straight up bug.

It's usually best to open a dedicated thread for any major issues, as it's super easy for individual replies in a larger thread to get lost or overlooked.

We do our best to reply where possible but having things in their own threads does make things a bit easier.

Lukas - first I apologize if my prior posts seemed a bit snarky. It wasn't my intention, but in reading them again, I can see they could be taken as such.

OOTP is a fantastic sim, the best out there by far in my opinion. Markus, yourself, and everyone involved with OOTP do a fabulous job. I firmly believe you guys are more conscientious and attentive than anyone else out there. Your efforts are always appreciated.

On top of having the most "glitches" I've ever experienced with a new release, I have also been battling some health problems, so maybe it has made me a bit cranky. Not an excuse, but possibly an explanation. Anyway, I certainly wouldn't keep purchasing OOTP every year since I first discovered OOTP7 without believing it is outstanding. I eagerly look forward to every new version!

I will take your suggestion to open a support ticket and see if the problem can be resolved that way. I went through the window sizes one by one a day ago to see if any would provide the Save button. In all window sizes except default, the picture frame of the stadium in the construction kit is completely black with a white box in the upper right corner. There was one window size that did show the Save button, but without the stadium diagram/picture you can't complete a design.

Thanks for the support ticket suggestion. I'll give that a shot and put off my expansion plans for now.

No worries, and thanks much for the kind words!

Something I think support will likely mention, but it doesn't hurt to mention here too is that you might try updating your OS if there is a more recent update available. What you're describing sounds a bit like a video card driver conflict or issue and on a Mac, the only way to update the video card drivers is to update the whole OS. It may or may not help, but I just mention it because I have seen this solve similar issues before.

I'm pretty sure everything is up to date. I had to update to Big Sur OS11 when I first got OOTP 22. My MacBook shows everything is up to date at this time.

I have the few trace files posted here, I can create a thread out in the main forum as well if that is easier. The biggest problem is when the camera is moving and the ball or players are moving as well, it isn't a smooth transition and seems a bit jumpy. It's happening in all parks, not at any specific spot, pretty much on every play.

is there another workaround? because a very enjoyable part of the seasons for me are playing the games out on opening day, any big games throughout the year, and every playoff game, and right now its just choppy as hell and if there's no workaround that sucks.

I'm not sure if this should be here, but I'll give it a try.

I just started a 1995 Season Replay on my iMac and I haven't enabled Face Gen.

So far, Don Mattingly is the only player whose face appears.

There aren't any faces included with the game for historical players due to licensing issues. Mattingly appears just because he's a current manager.

To get faces for historical players you'd need to download and install one of the historical facegen mods found in the mods section of the forums here, or in the Steam Workshop if you have Steam.
