If you're just worried with the current universe you can do it on the fighter tab.

If you want to fix it for future universes go to his fighter file. It should be located at Documents/Out Of The Park Developments/Title Bout Boxing 2.5/DefaultData/Fighters/Men. You'll see a bunch of files there named with three numbers. The first number is the boxrec id. Find the id that matches the fighter (Johnson is 1187) and right click on the file. You'll get a list of options. About the third one down should say "Edit with XML Notepad". Left click that option. You should get something that looks similar to the attachment below. On the right side pane double click the entry you want to change. When you're finished, click the icon that looks like a floppy disc to save your changes.

Came across a new issue today. Noticed I had 2 fighters named

Dan Erasmus's MW, His was pretty correct and matched his BoxRec info.
The other gent's number was of Jeff Godfrey, a HW, not even rated as such.

Are some of these guys hidden in the database?, or is there an additional source or are we doing these on our own.

Somebody said they have around 30,000 fighters. I'd love to know how to keep track and tweak the info that is missing or inaccurate.

I'm dealing strictly with heavyweights and I have over 2,000 of them. I can't imagine how anyone keeps track of 10 times that many boxers.

As for individual fighters getting messed up, that's a common problem reported by TB 2013 users. The game changes names, changes weight classes, loses ratings values, etc. I tried 2013 for a few months, then it totally crapped out on me after crashing multiple times for no reason. In the end I abandoned it and went back to 2.5 because it's way more stable. Even the programmer later admitted he'd rushed TB 2013 out.

I keep hearing there's a beta team testing a TB 3.0 version but it's going on six years now.

The %27 is a URI decoding error. It's supposed to be an apostrophe. As of 2005, the apostrophe is a reserved character that must be encoded when uploaded. Older programs, like Title Bout, were often built using now outdated RFC definitions that did not require encoding of apostrophes in text fields and therefore don't decode them. I finally convinced excel to sort the CSV of the database the way I wanted so I could identify the fighters with improperly decoded nicknames. I found 35 such fighters:
