This is even awesome for MLB league players who get into the future and have fictional rookies, etc. Can assign some faces. Nice job, can't wait for you to release more packs

Would be super cool if the game had a way to tie these randomly to created players and eliminate all the manual labor of assigning.

Does the fact sheet show what each are? i am trying to figure out which folder to use for Cubans and other Caribbean nations. Also Middle eastern. i can not open the xls file.

I am working on my EBL draft class and at least the Caucasian and african FG's are being used heavily.

I am wondering how to determine some of this too. Forgive me if its ignorance, but I am not sure what MESA, MENA, are etc. and when we should be apply which to what demographic.

Example Dominican players, Venezuelan, etc.

Hello, it's been a long time since I've visited the forums. I've been quite busy working, but I'm here to answer your questions:

Sadly, I don't know how to automate the faces in the game. In FM, the community actually collaborated on this project to make a UI for the integration process. I'm still eager to find ways on how to apply the faces with ease. If you have prior programming experience, this might help as well. But for now, you have to manually apply the faces by exporting the FG files individually.

In regards to the segregation of the faces, I followed the format from the FM project. From what I have gathered and experienced with the face pack, I can say that the following will fit your needs:

African - African and Caribbean, Pacific Islander is segregated here in the FM version
Asian - East Asian and Central Asian applicable
Caucasian - North American, British, and other Caucasian descent
Central European - Central European descent
EECA - Eastern Europe Central Asia
ItalMed - Italian Mediterranean
MENA - Middle Eastern North African (close to the Mediterranean, like Egypt, etc.)
MESA - Middle Eastern South Asian (Indian descent)
SAMed - South American Mediterranean, can work alongside South American, lighter faces
Scandinavian - Northern European/Scandinavian descent
Seasian - South East Asia and Central Asia
South American - Can be applicable to Latin American countries
SpanMed - Spanish Mediterranean descent
YugoGreek - Former Yugoslavian countries and Greek descent

Right now, they don't have faces for Pacific Islanders because of the lack of samples to make a good set.

For reference:

I hope that all of you are satisfied with the number of faces in the pack. If not, I'm open to requests, but make sure to pick only one category because I'll most likely make 100 faces just to be consistent. I will only take one request per week so that it won't burn me out.

Looking forward to supplying many fictional faces, because I enjoy reading fictional saves in this forum. Basically, it's me helping you guys, and in return, I get immersive fictional leagues to read!

Any chance you could make a limited set of female faces? i tried but they dont look any different from a male. I usually use a celebrity for various female faces. Facebank has many celebrities including female FG so i tend to use those except the ones i make but i would love some generic ones that look good. Understandable if you dont want to make these.

1 - random AA woman

2 random white woman

3 random white woman 2

4. China Anne Mcclain

5. Drew Barrymore

I heard that women's football will be added to FM22, so there might be a new facepack designed for women. But for now, we don't have that yet.

What I can recommend though is using thispersondoesnotexist.com or Artbreeder to get AI-Generated faces, the only problem is that you won't get faces for specific descent on thispersondoesnotexist.com, Artbreeder has the option to specify the race though.

More Dominican and/or Venezuelan faces. The OOTP game classifies a lot of them under "African" but I personally feel that a "standard" (in no way do I mean any of this in a racist manner) black African male face is different then a south American mans. I realize they may share some of the same physical features but for example in real life I would be pretty good at saying oh hes got South American heritage vs some one else who may have African heritage...OOTP fails to accomplish this. I hope that makes sense. I know you could then say Hispanic, but I feel those are also different and skin pigmentation a bit lighter, etc etc.

I guess its hard for me to convey into text but hopefully I am making a bit of sense lol and you understand what I am getting at! Either or whether you decide to take my request on I appreciate this pack none the less! So thank ya!

I 100% agree with what you are saying honestly, I believe that there are distinct differences, but sadly I can't tamper with that. I only use the faces given in the face pack. I also experienced that in FM, but luckily the faces vary. I recommend using the FG files from African or South American when picking faces for Latin players, then you can request to add more faces for one ethnicity that suits your needs most. I get your concern, I hope the original face pack adds more to the mix. I hope it helps!

After looking at the South American files, I think it may be the best option, I'll do my best to try. Thanks for the recommendation!

Just wanted to thank you for turning me onto Artbreeder. Tons of great female pictures to do generic FG's for. Also grabbed 5 or so male pictures. Here are the 1st 5 i made so far.

Hi, it has been a while since the creation of this thread.

I haven't continued on this project because creating the FG files takes so much time, and I am more interested in automating that process. I haven't found any way how to automate this, but I'm open to any suggestions, especially the process of automatically assigning these files to players in the game.

Also, I'm recently trying to make my own GAN-created faces. One issue I have with the faces that come from the FM face pack is that they will look the same when it turns into an FG file. I found that it's because of the way these faces are generated (latent space truncation), hence why they look less random but more normal.

It's great to see a lot of appreciation coming from the forums! I'd really like to continue this project but I don't have that much free time anymore. I think the best way for this project to grow is for you guys to join in. With that said, I will make this project accessible to anyone who wants to contribute in the future.

Again, thank you for welcoming my project and using it for your own game saves! I hope these FG files, though few in size, may make a great impact with game immersion.
