The animation on it was hilarious, the ball ricocheted all the way from between 1st and 2nd back to foul territory just up the 1st base line from home plate, if it hit the runner that hard in real life he'd have a broken leg (or a severed one). It happened so fast I had no idea what the heck happened until I read it in the play-by-play.
My brother made a good point. 104.4 MPH exit velocity and it hit the runner? Ouch!

Just had my first "pickle/rundown". The game didn't record the numeration of what the play was (ie was it a 4-5-6-5-4-1 rundown?) but it did mention there being a rundown.

Sweet! Did it freak you out for a second? The first time I saw one, I was totally shocked because I didn't even know they were programmed into OOTP. Major props to the devs for putting that in.

Now we need broken bats flying into the infield, but those would need to be as infrequent as a rundown. Two or three times a season, if you're lucky and you play out 90% of your games or more.

I know this isn't something special, but I'm quite certain I only recently saw my first one of these...and then I saw it for the second time this week. I'm talking about the 3-6-1 double play. I've had 3-6-3 double plays a handful of times, but it took me many seasons to see my first 3-6-1 DP.

It did freak me out because until the text came up I wasn't sure what was going on lol.

I have had a couple 3-6-1s against me. Finally completed my first 3-6-1 today actually. Cool stuff man.

Finally had a player of mine hit 2 homers in the same inning. My catcher Kevin Smith hit a solo homer to lead off an 8 run 8th inning and capped it off with a grand slam also in the same inning.
