Lucas. I've played a few games of my 1962 & 1948 seasons and it was ok. I haven't tried the 2020 season yet.

Just played out 2 games from 2020 season and it was ok. Should I restart that season though, because that was set up with an earlier build?

For testing purposes probably best to restart but if you're just enjoying playing some games, then whatever you prefer

Created a “non live” MLB 60 game short season with build 21.5.75 (steam version).
Manage the Blue Jays.
Saved league - no problem.

Unable to backup league.

What day is the draft? I don't see it. The first thing on my list is International FA signing begins. (8/1) I don't see a draft at all. I'm on July 26th. Ok. I get it. It's already happened? On June 20th? I can't see any results, though.

I check under MLB to look at the draft log and it says 2020 draft log round 1-9 no picks made yet.

Great job guys. I'm noticing, however, that Yoenis Cespedes' half-brother Yoelkis keeps showing up as a retired player, rather than an international FA when the signing period begins. Is anybody aware of this? Was hoping to get a chance to sign him.

In the short schedule, the draft is set I believe to the 21st, so you've probably already gone past it. Unless if you have done a live start, in which case we automatically process the draft picks.

Ok. I started live start at July 23rd. Opening day. So you are saying the draft has already been processed? Is it possibly to see a list of who my team picked? If so where would I find that.

Ok I see there is no list but I do see # 1 pick Mick Abel on the GCL. Thanks.

I know you guys must be going crazy answering all these same questions.

Yeah, all live starts include the draft being completed. If you go to the draft page, I believe the draft history should be mostly updated for the draft (depending on which version you did the live start in, some earlier builds did not update that info correctly). I believe the html draft log is not updated.

The rule 5 draft was being run in a snake format, not a straight draft, on previous versions

Is there an option to enable 16 teams playoff mode?
I have just started the new game and still have the old playoff mode.
Using a live start applies the new playoff format, is this also possible in games with normal start?

He was set as retired in the db. I've updated his status to be an IAFA now. So you should see that in the next patch.

You have to specifically choose one of the 60-game options, from the 'New Standard Game' menu choice. The quickstarts are set up to run the full original 162 game season.

For the normal start, no it's not possible to automatically get the 16 game playoffs. But of course, you can always manually edit the playoffs in any of those modes.
