Did you do any kind of edit to these players when you created the leagues? Also, do you have players scouted in comparison to MLB or for the *** & KBO Leagues? My issue was that I edited all of the contracts as part of a project to have a Quickstart for the 1990s. Went season by season because when I want to relive those days, I wanted accurate contracts. Took years to get done. My goal was to take over a team but have the realism of what they'd be facing in history so that I could move forward like a GM would if they picked up today. I was really disappointed when I saw the bug hit, but was glad I was able to resolve it without losing my many hours of edits.

No. I 'think' I screwed up somehow with Player Creation Modifiers. All the players were showing ratings relative to the MLB, that's how I knew something was very wrong. I can't remember the exact sequence. I don't sleep for days sometimes and my memory is seriously shot once I fall into zombie mode around 45 hours without sleep. It sucks. Anyway, I do know that I either did a Delete League function on *** or a Clear Rosters function. Unbeknownst to me at the time, either function dumps all of the players into the Free Agent pool. I then had to get new players, of course, and when it filled the rosters that time, things were still on the high side, but I just let it be. I think I went into the Free Agent screen and either deleted the 4 & 5 star players, or maybe I filtered by Nationality and got rid of Japanese F.A. It's not perfect, but I love my saved game as GM of the Yankees, so I keep it going.

I'm having some difficulty understand you... Are you saying that you created a historic league beginning in 1990 and it created all the teams & players correctly except the player contracts were not right? So you used the Editor to fix all of the incorrect contract information? Is that what was going on?

So, I made my edits in Excel for the contracts for each season of the 1990s (I have all seasons from 1990-1999 in their own Quickstart). Then, I reimported. My issue was what QuestDog referenced above, a glitch that was fixed when you would import relievers. Had to copy and paste pitcher data after recalculating players, but it all worked.

Sorry to hear about the higher ratings in your league. From your posts, it looks like that Yankees team is stacked plus you are having some amazing success. I would have wanted to keep that going too!!!
