I use "hard" and "favor prospects" for the trading settings, just to keep me honest.
I tried "very hard" and "strongly favor prospects" but it meant that even the most favorable trades to another team would be turned down in a rude way. It was leading me to track down Skynet and.. Anyway, I like to be able to trade since I play a team, but want a balance, nothing too easy and I try to keep myself honest by not taking advantage of too good an offer. But with "hard" and "favor prospects" you get fewer of those anyway. |

Ugh, a week into bumping up the injuries setting to very low, Manhattan suffers the first blow. This will bump Jose Vizcaino into the starting shortstop role.

Vida Blue of the Memphis Kings and Dean Chance of the Spokane Steelheads have been the best pitchers in their respective leagues
Don Mattingly has been the best player in all of Legends Baseball League Bob Horner as been an offensive star for the lowly Glendale Hoppers (29-57) |

The Year 1 First Year Player Draft pool has been announced
Jim McCormick is an 1800s pitcher and will most likely be deleted from the pool. My Inaugural Draft pool was from 1901 to present and I will use no minimum and no maximum for the First Year Player Draft, however, most pitchers from pre 1901 will be deleted. I wanted to expand the pool to get guys like Dan Brouthers, Cap Anson, Roger Connor, and Cy Young into my game as rookies but I do not want some of these pitchers to dominate. The Year 1 First Year Player Draft order will be randomly determined and will be announced on draft day. |

Year 1 Offensive Leaders
Don Mattingly of the Manhattan Liberty had a monster season. I wonder how much higher that RBI total might have been had Arky Vaughan was never injured for the season back on June 7th, Year 1. The homerun mark and the RBI mark have been set pretty high here in Year 1. It should be fun to watch this league unfold and see if/when these marks will be topped and by who. Another fun stat is Herman Long who hit 30 homeruns and stole 86 bases Last edited by Beirnej1; 08-23-2020 at 04:26 PM. |

Year 1 Pitching Leaders
None of the pitching numbers really stand out. Most of the star pitchers were imported at their real life rookie year so the stamina might not be as high as they will get. I expect as we move forward these pitchers will throw more innings and set all new marks. Last edited by Beirnej1; 08-23-2020 at 04:36 PM. |
