FOF7/8 Historical Draft Files, 1983-2019

I've noticed that Herschel Walker is missing from the game if I use the 1983 roster start date. He's in the draft file and I'd normally just import that, but then I'd end up with two Dan Marinos (gross).

Am I doing something wrong on my end?

No, nothing you've done. It's just the difference in what I've done with the draft files and what the original creator of the roster files did with the roster files. Walker wasn't in the NFL in 1983, so he doesn't show up in Nildor's roster files until he joined the Cowboys in 1986.

In fact it was the whole reason I did the draft files this way, to make sure each player is draft eligible after they leave school instead of after they join the NFL from some other league. Eventually, the plan is to do roster files for the years 1982-2019, but that's down the list.

I would recommend using the 1982 roster file, then moving on with the 1983 draft file the next year since that starts before the USFL messed everything up.

I can't change the title of the thread, but the 2020 draft files are in the Google Drive. I'm missing about a third of the birthdays, mostly the UDFAs and Canadian players, but the rest of the data is complete.
