No, I think you're right D.

I just checked the ESPN site, and you're right, he's on the Brewers.

Maybe Relic was tipping a few too many.

Maybe a pinch hitter. Problem is, he can't hit.

He hit better than he pitched in spring training, though.

Ok, I'm not crazy. I just checked. The Sox had him in their minor leagues last year.

I thought I remembered that from somewhere.

The kid CAN hit. Where did you get that he couldn't?

Gee, I dunno. He's got a .220 lifetime batting average, while shuffling around eight (yes eight) organizations, and failing to stick with ANY of them.

Just a hunch.

What makes you think he CAN?

To be more specific, THIS is why I don't think he can hit.

He hit well in the minors, but he's struggled in the Show.

Yup. He appears to be a classic "4A" hitter. The Cubs have had plenty of them. Calling Roosevelt Brown and Julio Zuleto.

Or Bobby Hill it seems.
It took me a few seconds to get this.

Like a Quadruple A right?

Exactly!

I think it's still too soon to tell on Bobby Hill, though.

Please tell me you're referring to Bobby Hill and not Kieschnick.

Look, if Kieschnick could hit, he wouldn't be atempting to come back as a pitcher.

As a Cub fan, I wanted Kieschnick to excel as much as anyone. But he can't hit.

And quite frankly, I can't believe this is even a debate.

And don't you dare forget his ability to hit in the clutch.

I think it's more like he missed the clutch and hit the brake.

On his career.

Just goes to show how elevated his game is. Lesser mortals couldn't dare to do that.

you are right, he didnt fare well in the Majors. I was referring to his minor league career.

I wasn't aware of his major league numbers.
