Added him to my team in Silver recently. Rocking a 9.30 ERA in his first 4 starts with them.

I've never seen him that bad. Yikes. I started picking him up for my 3 teams after I saw him constantly show up on leaderboards. He's always been a serviceable #5 starter, except now in Perfect.

Zack Wheeler has been consistently slightly below average as a pitcher from silver level on. In Bronze, he had a 3.55 ERA, but in Silver/Gold/Diamond/Pefect, his ERA has remained steadily a tick higher than league average... 4.26/4.27/4.32/4.45 Too many better other choices, even at the silver level of pitching. I would say he's more of an inning eater.

How do you get access to the stats for the various leagues?

Thanks.

I'm guessing 3 teams, exporting the league stats at the end of each season, then processing in a spreadsheet. Once you get it setup, it's pretty easy to just drop new datasets in.

Oh yeah, and it's easy to pull "Last Season" stats. So, 5 weeks x 3 teams x 2 seasons data per player after season 1 - duplicate players. He could have a huge database right now.

Thank you. That must be the case. Helpful to have this data, but collecting it requires a more systematic approach than I have.

By multiple teams being in a different league every week for 5 weeks. The stats only come from leagues I'm personally in...

Takes about 30 minutes to export the data and paste them into Excel each week (1 hour if I do it bi-weekly instead of weekly). I have source spreadsheets that get updated weekly then other spreadsheets that do the calculating, sorting, and selection that stays static and requires no extra effort (other than to slice and dice the reports when I study the data).

I found that you have to be careful with Doolittle.

In all my leagues and across the games I looked at, he is reliable against LHBs but tends to give up HRs against RHBs. So the data gets pretty flawed and inaccurate.

Without any strategy adjustments, he tends to pitch too long and ends up in bad situations (bloating his ERA).

Adjusting his strategy to limit the # of pitches and adjusting to very quick hook helped keep his ERA in check.

Do we know if we will ever have access to the data of the entire PT universe (I remember reading about being able to access other leagues but don't recall if that was for OOTP19 or 20).

Or even better have the data provided to everyone via a 'Stats' tab inside the game itself?

Haven't heard anything about that, but it would be great if we did.
