at times i wonder if Markus originally intended the game to be as adaptable as it has become? It's amazing that it can be modified and played in so many ways, frankly amazing. Kudos to all those who have worked on it through the years. i started with an early version of Season Ticket (c 2001) and thought that was the greatest thing. But lost that computer to a HD failure (but i still have the manual i printed for that version!!) and it wasn't until i found V. 14 on line i got back into OOTP. haven't left yet!
Anywho .. off to make some face-gens and plan my next expansion ....

I quite enjoy historical random debut, but with a whole bunch of tinkering. Pretty comfortable with where it's at right now. Talk to JaBurns. He knows exactly what you're talking about. I've blown up a lot of leagues to get to where I wanted to get to. I think I'm there, but who knows?

Every tinkering step I take brings me closer to my perfect league. I have to think and believe that or I would be wasting my time. I generally learn something new every single day, a tweak, a new report, a new way to sort, etc. I am getting more confident that I am close with my test league. Just starting 1912, it takes me a long time (too long?) to finishing a year because I spend time checking things to see if I can improve my settings. I quite probably overkill things but my game, my way. Currently plan to run the test through 1920 and then off with the training wheels to start my long term HRD. The plan could and probably will change......
