MLB Tonight was certainly disappointing, OOTP has undoubtedly made huge strides since it's beginning. Here's my idea, maybe OOTP19 should create/mimic MLB Tonight instead. Sim the season day-by-day and have an MLB style show on YouTube talking about the previous nights results and stats & standings... just my $.02

Hi everyone! So as you saw tonight, we're predicting the Los Angeles Dodgers to beat the Cleveland Indians in the World Series.

There's a whole lot of prediction data that we delivered, and the MLB Network team did a wonderful job representing our division winner-through-playoff data. They constructed the playoff tree visuals, which I thought looked great.

It's really amazing how generous they are with their time; they're certainly under no obligation to work with us and I am super-appreciative of them even thinking to include our data in their show.

If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to share some more of the data that was a result of our simulations.

Thank you!

Whats the Cubs & White Sox records? I have been talking smack to David Kaplan on Twitter and i need a rebuttal for his 104 & 72 win predictions.

The Cubs will be 97-65 and will lose in the NLCS to the Dodgers.

The White Sox will be 60-102...

Just the fact that they used the results and posted it is remarkable.

Beggars can't be choosey... we were very, very lucky to even get 30 seconds of TV time.

Markus should follow up and purchase an ad schedule... have no idea of what the cost would be... but it would be sure nice to see a 60-second spot explaining the game... or a three-minute info-mercial.

Should he be able to afford it or arrange a free spot... just make sure it is a well-produced commercial.

Who knows maybe MLB.com might run some freebies for OOTPB.
They might even create the ad, too. (Yeah, I'm a dreamer).

The worst thing they could do is say, "no".

Give Brian Kenny a free game... he would probably be the one who would be most intrigued by OOTPB... he has an intense interest in SABR and baseball numbers and probability.

Is Curt Shilling still on TV or did he get fired? Maybe he could help promote the game if he is still on the air.

No... forget that last suggestion... I think he lost millions of dollars on his video game company.

I watched the preview show on MLB network primarily to see the OOTP segment. Yes, it was short but I assume it is free publicity for the game and that is always good. If it causes at least a few viewers who had not previously heard of OOTP to google it, I am sure even that small segment is well worth it for Markus and team.

what I mean is they were more concerned with the picks of the hosts, and are trying to sell their personalities over a computer simulation.

And why wouldn't they? Their goal is to build their brand, not that of a computer simulation. The fact that they chose to use OOTP in their brief reference to a computer simulation is a huge win for the game in my mind.

Matt said that? And I like Matt!

Well, this "nerd" is a 52 year old man with a mortgage, job, wife, 3 kids and 3 pet birds.

And I LOVE OOTP!

White Sox and Cubs or White Sox and Cardinals
or
Red Sox and either Cubs or Cards...

and if the Yankees make it...that's fine too.

If Vasgersian means a 19 year old baseball nerd still living with his dad instead of mom, then count me in!!

No idea what OOTP do free game wise but I'd be looking at a free copy to MLB teams maybe even AAA teams, say a copy to either a GM or player that as shown an interest in games through interviews or such. You know what players are like for social media they'd love to brag about trading their teammate.
