Will the teams be in alphabetical order(player editor page)? This might occur (not in order) when playing with larger leagues.

I play with larger leagues and it's time consuming when teams aren't in a certain order(plus my memory isn't as good as before).

Does 19 have tru-life transactions for the 2017 season? Shouldn't be difficult to have this for the most recent season.

There seems to be plenty of room, why not have the percentage of rest next to Ps and players name?

Also, has it ever been considered to have HTH play on a web page? People come and go 24/7, go into a season that somebody started. When that game is done, the other person can pick the next team to be of the games that haven't been played yet. My team is Texas, but that game has already been played, so I pick the Marlins or Yankees or whoever hasn't been played yet. Maybe charge 10 bucks a month. People will play it and they will pay to do it. Ask people to see if there would be enough interest.

Sounds great. The scouting system is perhaps the most important system to me. I'm excited to see what you come up with.

The reason I think this is that, often times, a scout will rate a draft prospect as a 20-potential player, despite having him in the top 10 of his draft list. Meaning, my scout's report on him is terrible, but he still agrees with the "consensus" that he's worthy of a high draft pick? That doesn't add up to me.

Not sure exactly what you mean? If you mean in historical, then yeah 2017 will have the as played lineups included so that if you play in that mode, players will switch teams when they really did.

If you mean in the 2018 season roster set, then yes all transactions will be updated and players will be on their correct teams. Most/all should have notes regarding any trades/signings in the history as well.

Is there any chance that this year's version allows team/organization filtering on the Player List page? It would be super helpful and I don't think it can be done in 18. If not, I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but it would make, at least, one fan very happy.

ex. When I'm looking for players to trade for, it would be great if I could keep my own guys from showing up on the list.

How are you handling two-way players like Otani? I'd love to be able to create a two-way star!

P.S. Just started playing the series with OOTP and can't believe I was missing out for so long! The game is truly amazing!

Minor League Evoultion including contract with MLB Team and interview a guy for Job opening Minor or so on League guy?

Full Spring Training Options and Rules?

Unretirements by the Computer? Player Transaction News 2018 and beyond? Fictional Insiders? Faster way to include Historical Guys in Ametur Draft on June 9th ,be able to sign all guys to a Contract and have Draft last 2 days? Live Play by Play? Expanded Exhibition Series to include more Teams like pick year and get to redo Playoffs? TV/Radio Contracts and when a guy Retires can become Annoucer for a Team or become Front Office/Personal? Interm Front Office/Personal?

I'll let Matt talk about it more since it's his thing, but basically in a lot of cases the ratings (overall ratings especially) didn't really make sense and weren't always accurate. Matt's done a lot of rebalancing and recalculating of them so that they are just better and more accurate now.

None of this afaik.

Couple questions:

1. Will the AFL roster selection be fixed? Currently it just fills the roster with the best available from AAA, so just a bunch of journeymen. Also it allows players with MLB time.

2. Will Rule 5 drafts be smarter? I got Dustin Fowler who hit .366 in AAA because the Yanks just didn't bother to protect him. Lots of top prospects on the list that wouldn't be there in reality.

3. Will the uniforms and logos for the AZL and DSL be fixed in the MLB quickstart? This happens because some of the teams are named Padres 2 or whatever, its an easy fix, something that should be done in the default quickstart by having the uni/logo specified.

First of all, I dearly love OOTPB... OOTP18 is a superb game.

Having said that, I would like to know if any work was done to improve the News and PBP for OOTP19?

The game recaps really need some work on them... they are poorly designed and poorly written... with very little variety... they need to be rewritten and expanded, so they don't repeat so much.

The PBP is really good when pstrickert is in control... but Markus' hard code really needs to be edited.

Markus, let pstrickert edited the Hard Code, too.

Markus is a great programmer, but he comes up short as a writer, at least on the News and PBP.

I get the feeling that he wrote the game recaps.

Come on, Markus... give us well-written News and well-written PBP.

I've read there will be stock logos for fictional teams -- thanks for that! Will there be multiple stock models to represent fictional or minor league ballparks too (like in MLB The Show, for instance)?
