The Mariners did not manage a hit until the 7th inning as Drew Hutchison was nearly perfect over five and the Jays beat Seattle 5-3.

Derek Dietrich left the game after being hit by a pitch. He should be ready for the season opener.

Homers by Yairo Munoz and Rafael Devers put the Jays in the driver's seat, but Jake Diekman couldn't hold it in the 9th, allowing the Twins to come back and tie it.

Didi Gregorius got it back with a walk-off RNI single to give Toronto the 8-7 win in 10.

The good: Robinson Cano hit a walk-off home run to beat the Tigers 5-4. Marcell Ozuna and Jacob Brugman also hit homers.

The bad: Yesterday Aaron Sanchez was injured and lost for the season. Today BOTH Drew Smyly and Jake Diekman left the game with unknown injuries. This could be bad.

WP - Juan Nicasio (2-0)
LP - Shane Greene (0-1)

Spring Record - 14-6

Drew Smyly also has shoulder inflammation. Not as bas as Sanchez, but it will affect the season. He will miss about six weeks.

Jake Diekman's back will just need a few days rest.

Smyly goes on the D.L. and David Berg is called up from the minor league camp.
