How does participation in tournaments show up in an individual player's history/career stats?

Yes WBC looks good,Arizona Winter League haven't got to it but in my league know need other Winter Leagues like Florida one. Like it that Jackeonville and so on Florida cities shows up know in Randomize Cities for Florida Region. Doing All-Time Active Marlins and Yes Andrew Miller still on Indians and not Cloned because have him from a League from last Version.

They will be listed as a separate line item in their history:

Name: WCB Sample.png
Views: 543
Size: 85.6 KB

There is also a separate filter that will show just the Tournament stats, and career/season/game leaders exists for the tournament as well.

OMG I am in love. I have religiously watched the WBC and to think I can now play it..this is great...I'm a rookie to OOTP and this has sold me all in. I pre ordered in January so now I have to figure out how to DL it...Thanks guys for adding this, this truly makes my day..

Could anyone explain (or show screenshots) of rules that govern a tournament. Such as where the players come from, can this be limited by teams/league/regions etc... Can a team be in a league and in a tournament? Any other useful stuff in regards to the rules for tournament setup. This is a big feature for me so I want to try see what the scope of it is.

I'm having a problem with custom tournaments - i.e. not the WBC/Olympic set-ups, everything seems fine for those.

Having created a tournament, I cannot edit the colour schemes/ballparks for the teams. All the backgrounds for each team are light grey, and if I go to Home > Settings for a team, the Modify Team Colours and Edit Ballpark options do nothing.

Have I missed a setting or is this a bug?

So I guess you manually set up the WBC before spring training or does it automatically do that?

do "playoff games" in Tournament Mode count as playoff stats or to the overall tournament statline? They should appear as Tournament stats and not playoff tournament stats.

I thought we were getting regular team tournaments as well and not just national teams or combined teams, unless I am missing something. looks great though

Any thoughts to being able to run two WBC in a universe?
I'd like one for regular MLB players and also one, during the off years, for U20 or something akin to that.

Just create a custom tournament with a WBC format and set the level to a minor league level tournament.

They all count towards the tournament stats. Tournament playoff games are different than regular games, but the stats all go into the same bucket.

Unfortunately, team tournaments pose other problems. We'll likely try to get them in some day, but they'll take a good amount of work.

thank you. was briefly messing around and saw that the WBC was grayed out and didn't even think to look to the left side of the screen. Complete brain freeze with so much to tinker with on day one.

Forgive me as this is a 3 part questionnaire

So i just started a Standard game and loaded all the leagues including the WCB/WBC. I figured out that i can control both the USA team and the Seattle Mariners which is pretty cool. If i don't choose to control the USA team, how does it determine who the coach will be? Reputation? Is it possible the game can ask retired Managers to coach the team?

Because the game starts on March 7th do i not get to go through the roster selection phase? Do i have to change the start of the Tournament or the start of the Roster selection date in order to go through the process of selecting people?

Also i did a test run so i could watch the games and i noticed that they didn't show up in the schedule as an option to watch until the 3rd game. So in my case Puerto Rico was already 2-0 before i could actually see a box score. Is this normal? I tried to drop the league screen to WBC but i didn't see it until the 3rd game.

I think that's it for now.

Is there a way to work around players that decline? I added a WBC tournament to my league I imported from 17 and there are several nations where the top players decline to participate. I know this is a reality that players do decline, but for the purposes of my game I want the best players in the lineups. I have the settings set for the maximum and minimum league talent level. I see the box in league settings "batter/pitcher rejection amount" but it is grayed out and I cannot adjust it.
Any ideas??
