OOTP 4.
I see there are quite a few of us here who started with that version.

I started on my honeymoon in 2003 (OOTP6?) How well do you think that went over?

15 years... started with Season Ticket Baseball in 2002 or 2003... which I believe is what they called OOTP2 or 3 when they sold it in stores.

OOTP15. Before that I was a Strat guy. Still love Strat....just don't wanna be overcharged for the Windows game ($20 per season!??) when I can get this!

I played card and dice. If you rolled a 34 Babe Ruth hit a homer.

This time last year I had never heard of OOTP - was getting fed up with Football Manager and looking for a new sports management game.
Almost a year later and I have over 1000 hours logged on OOTP 17 - compared with the new Football Manager which I have only 2 hours logged on! |

I'm pretty new, I bought OOTP 15 on Steam during a winter sale, then bought 16 that Spring. I pre-ordered 17 and 18 as soon as I could. I've put in more hours each version, and other games have just dropped off.

Season Ticket Baseball when it had fake names for real players. I remember a few of them (Some of them were gems, Pedro Balls (Gabe White), Kid and Pop Jemison (Vizquel and Thome) but I really wish we had a database of those.

Me as well. I remember thinking that when we got to 6.5, it was the best thing ever. A really great ride.
