Once we have people at the MLB level, I'll do monthly updates for each player.

But until then, I'll do two a year.

He is slated as their ace ahead of Kris Medlen, Miguel Castro, Jeff Hoffman, and Jeff Locke. And he is the only one with an ERA below 5.00

I'll be doing monthly updates now that I see that he is in the big leagues.

As a pitcher, I didn't want to play in Colorado either. But playing in Colorado is better than sitting out a year.

Only the third Rockies pitcher to ever strike out 200 in a single season (Ubaldo 214 in 2010, Pedro Astacio 210 in 1999)

2017 Final Season stats for Python (I'll do the rest of the league in a bit)

17-8, 35 starts, 4.16 ERA, 4.0 WAR, 9.1 K/9, 3.8 BB/9, 1.1 HR/9, 246.2 IP, 250 K (franchise record), 109 ERA+

Rockies finished 4th in the NL West at 73-88. Python was their only double digit winner or pitcher with a positive ERA+ in the rotation.

The Rockies led the NL in runs scored (802), but were last in runs against (851) (not surprising).

Python's 17 wins is the second most by a Rockies pitcher ever (Ubaldo 19 in 2010).

His 4.0 WAR is tied for 9th best
His 5 CG is tied for second most
Most innings thrown in a single season by a Rockies pitcher
250 K (franchise record)

He is currently rated a 66/80

I will be updating tonight, but I can say that nobody else got above A ball this year.
