That's what I've been trying to do. I get this message for every one I try. I get that I need at least 1 interleague series at all times if I have 30. I have interleague selected. Thanks for all your help but I don't know what else to do.

Somewhere, there is a mismatch between what is specified in the schedule file's header and what the parameters of the league.

Along those lines, could you pleaSe post a screenshot of the league structure page?

I'm guessing the OP has an association vs a SL1 SL2 league set up. Doesn't that mess up schedules?
FWIW here is the header and opening day for the first of the GMO scheds. Quote:

Judging by the league structure he just posted, I would say no, he doesn't have an association.

The division order is different in both leagues, east west central vs east central west. Some of the team ID's seem high, but I have no idea if that is relevant.

what we need now is the screenshot of the League Settings -> Options, specifically the right pane. if all of that matches the schedule's name and the structure of the league, which is above, it will import.
make sure the # of games, and everything is ticked correcly. especially since you've likely tinkered here in attempts to get things going - i'd do the same thing. it would be easy to leave something askew. even check the manual on anything that seems remotely related on that page. it may even have a rundown on importing a schedule. |

I run into the same problem every year when doing the game's schedules..usually with the azl or gcl.
Here's a work around that might work... Change the element line in the schedule you're trying to import (Change just the parts in Red) from this: Code:
<SCHEDULE type="ILY_BGN_G162_SL1_D1_T5_D2_T5_D3_T5_SL2_D1_T5_D2_T5_D3_T5_C_" inter_league="1" balanced_games="0" games_per_team="162" start_month="4" start_day="1" start_day_of_week="2" allstar_game_day="100"> Code:
<SCHEDULE type="ILY_BGN_G162_T60_C_" inter_league="1" balanced_games="0" games_per_team="162" start_month="4" start_day="1" start_day_of_week="2" allstar_game_day="100"> All the change to the element line does is tell ootp to ignore your structure (the sl, d, t, stuff) and keep the matchups as set in your imported schedule. If you look at the 2016 azl or dsl schedule in ootp's schedules folder, you'll see I had to use the work around to get them to import. Last edited by Bigrod; 07-04-2016 at 02:50 PM. |

As for why the import isn't working in the first place, subleague 2 has an empty division. This is the same way the Can-Am league is screwed up in the default quickstart.

*if that's the case, add a division with T0 ? go into league structure and get rid of it would be even better. then these things will import. double check structure and make sure no phantom limbs exist. if they do, lop them off.
otherwise, It's no big deal. it's totally understandable you are having a problem. i guess try ticking the adjust schedule if different date* it's good to use either way. i see interleagued checked and no balanced schedule in screenshot... all good, so far. 162 games? if that is corect, we are all good. now, when you go to import, find the file that was given, if it matches # of games and the other parameters. You want "ILY_BGN_" .... league description follows. find the one that fits your league. zoom down through the list of schedules until you find that section. (or if smart, the files rich gave, if they are right, should be located in a directory with no other files -> easy to find that way. maybe even find it yourself in windows explorer first, then copy/paste it - far easier to search and such from explorer compared to in-game. ILN or Y = interleague, yes/no BGN or Y = balanced, yes/no 2 sub leagues so SL1 and SL2 will be in name of schedule. ILY_BGN_G162_SL1_D1_T5_D2_T5_D3_T5_SL2_D1_T5_D2_T5 _D3 etc... make sure structures match and you are good to go. Last edited by NoOne; 07-04-2016 at 07:04 PM. |
