Warning on charts given to wannabe's renting houseboats near the St. Lawrence seaway. They draw red lines in magic marker showing the channel and write in very large letters, "BIG SHIPS NO BRAKES!!!!!!". It doesn't prevent idiots sitting in the channel wondering why that big boat is honking at them.

I can't even count the times I've seen newbie boaters crash boats into the dock by my house because they thought there was a brake available somewhere on their boat and they just couldn't find it.

Fortunately it's a sturdy and well-protected dock.
