Texas didn't win..... anyway...

I REALLY hope a great deal of focus for v17 is the CPU AI. In 2020 now and I'm just seeing some bizarre trades. A team signing a high priced FA in the off season and then trading him before the trade deadline. So the AI team who just received this high priced catcher, has him as a back up. You wouldn't trade a well known player (and a team leader) you just paid $16.4 mil/4 years and then the team that gets him, lets that money just sit on the bench as a backup. It was the Dodgers who traded the player and they have a TON of money and even more to spend in subsequent seasons, so it wasn't a money dump and the player was on a hot streak.

The game has been BRILLIANT in terms of team finances.. that has held steady and I do NOT see any talent sitting in FA, so I'm very happy in these areas.

Baseball has to be tough to code.. especially if you want to have different ways each team plays/manages their teams. There is hope though as many of the other areas of OOTP have definitely been improved!

Something happened with this version where teams would over pay for backup catchers and sometimes first baseman.

Its like the game is coded to have 2 starting catchers.
