OOTP tracks you and your mood throughout the day and generates an appropriate win/loss streak. It's part of the new morale and team chemistry system. If you're happy, your team is happy, and they win. If you're unhappy, your team is unhappy, and they lose.

Oh and everyone knows the inning runs get scored in your game is in direct correlation to the day and time you purchased your game. You can take the 3rd number in your game license, subtract the 6th number and add the 1st number in your home address to get the exact inning you can expect the most runs to be scored for your copy of the game.
