Right, but in real life, the player doesn't have to pass through waivers the second time. In OOTP, he does.

I have this right-handed reliever that is blocking a roster spot, makes a lot of money, has melted down recently, and will be a free agent without compensation.....
You could try that. But keep in mind that in OOTP, you'll have to put the player on waivers again to execute the trade, and if ANY team claims him regardless of their priority position compared to the team you're trading him to, then the trade will be blocked. Again, that's much different than the real life process.

No. If he has cleared waivers already there is no repeat.

That hasn't been the case for me in OOTP. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I will do a wavier trade and if they make claim I will show picture of it showing what team made the claim. There is a player I want to trade (get rid of) but I shall wait till after trade deadline to do it

Would it show up on your team's roster transactions screen under waivers and DFA? Might not tell you which team claimed him but it seems like it should say DID NOT CLEAR WAIVERS or something.
