There was some earlier discussion about doing this and one thing floated was the 3 man rotation.

I suppose you could actually do a 6 man "rotation" allow starters to relieve and have the rotation be on best rested. That would actually give you a pretty good no starters pitching staff.

I tried doing a 6 man rotation with "starters" being able to pitch in relief and also had all of the relievers as emergency starters. Told the Manager to pitch the highest rested, and it has not worked out very well at all. I'm not sure why, but my offense is doing really well and I'm not winning very many games now.

If you are going to try this, I definitely recommend doing the 3 man rotation.
