Darn, very disappointing. I hate it when the game is released almost a month into the real-life season. Oh, well, I guess I'll wait for next year again.

You think that is bad? I have to wait for this game AND PS4 version of MLB: The Show! I can't believe I actually bought a PS4 for ONE GAME, but what can I do...

You would rather wait a year than a month?

How does that make any sense?

Besides which, the release is only scheduled for like two weeks after Real American Opening Day(TM). It's not Markus' fault that MLB decided to schedule the first regular season games in Feburary on the moon.

Leave him alone.

I ordered a pizza last night and they said 30 minutes on the phone. It got to my house in 33 minutes. I refused to accept the pizza or pay the driver. As soon as I closed the door I had to place my order again. I can't believe they forced me to go through all of that for a stinking pizza. Let's see if I ever order from that place again!

Whatever hapened to good customer service?

You didn't wait a year before having pizza again?

Yeah, maybe next year they would be faster.

Well, luckily, they got it there in 24 minutes the 2nd time. It was a tad cold so I had to heat it up a little bit. I wasn't happy that it was cold but I was too hungry to call back again.

I remember like three, maybe four years ago, it really was ridiculous, like late May, maybe even June. Was a HUGE uproar about it and the following year was basically Opening Day...since then it's been in the April range which isn't too bad

Seems like you got the same pizza, or did you keep the freebie?

Game with no major bugs or problems released one month into season >> Game rushed to release on or before opening day with potentially major bugs

The team obviously work their backsides off trying to get the game perfect, and its only fair that we give them the time to do what they need to do. If it takes until May, so be it.

What are people even doing with the game that they care about it being released on opening day so much? Simming the 2014 season in real time? Using OOTP to help them bet on baseball? Is this Bud Selig posting, and baseball is actually "played by numbers; not humans!!!" despite what Murray Chass, etc., always told us?
