My Father is fighting the good fight again after 2 years of remission...the things they can do now that they couldn't even 4, 5 years ago is amazing!

I wish you and your family the best, Mr.Schilling, we will be thinking of you.

) and the World Series with open ankle sutures and bloody socks can beat cancer. Give it everything you got, just like you did in those games.

Good luck, Curt. Every time I see his posts here, you'd think he was any random OOTP player, not a HOF-caliber former big league pitcher. That alone speaks to the kind of person he is to me, notwithstanding everything he did on the pitcher's mound.

I hope he can overcome this. I think any guy who can pitch with blood showing through his sock has to be pretty tough - and that's coming from a Cardinal fan!
