More Player Background Images - Page 2

Maybe a decade-by-decade thing, same types of images. Maybe wartime stuff (USO shows, buy bonds, etc.) for the 1940s, speakeasies for the 20s, things like that? You're making some excellent stuff, so I'll leave it up to you.

Also, thanks for the good idea for the folders. I was thinking something along those lines might work, as long as I can remember to switch 'em whenever I switch between saved games!

OK, start with what era you want. You mentioned the 40's. You want to start from there?

...drinking some beers tonight so this may be a delayed response. But I'm defintely stoked thinking about the era-specific idea. I'd like to finish the last five I mentioned in the OP but once that is done I'm all over hooking up the era-specific idea.

It's going to take at leat 200 per era so any help from others would be warmly welcomed.

Let's get this project done!

If we are really going to do this we definitely need someone to host. No one wants to copy-paste these one-at-a-time. A single download would be easiest for the user.

Ok, I'll start with the 40's after I knock out the 5 modern ideas in the OP.

This project is finally something that I can feel like I am contributor and not a taker. Thanks for the ideas.

is the goal only to have things that was be a logical back-ground (ie scenery that player could be standing in front), or appropriate subject matter.

for example i started to look at 40s broadcast. decent picture of broadcast booth, but this is from above... also had a great microphone, but that was the whole picture...
