I think this guys post has come across as a bit hostile and a bit sarcastic. A few suggestions on how to fix his problem might have been a better angle to take rather than jumping on him.

However the thing I hate that came in this thread was this.

I hate the use of terms such as this and I think anyone using language like that about another poster should be barred from any forum.

This is the type of language that is used about my son who has autism, adhd and mild brain damage after a very traumatic birth. I deplore the use of these words as I see how much it upsets him when he is called them. I actually thought this forum was starting to get somewhere and was improving. Obviously not

Come on here, ask for help in a good way, get help. Look around a bit, you might see some threads that do just that but when someone comes on with full venom and crying that the game is broken with limited amounts of detail, well look around, you will see what happens in those threads as well.

For the record, I've gotten zero response from customer service aside from the automated message. Even through pms. Nuthin, natta, zip. So the 2 hours I spent this morning that frustrated me cause I can't play a game I paid for, is now stretching to 24+ hours. Rome wasnt built in a day, and this game has been in development for pretty well 2 years.....and counting.

I apologize to anyone who I have offended.

Listro, if FHM works in anyone's computer but yours, maybe the problem is with your SYSTEM. Take a look at that. Maybe clean registry or even reinstall system.

I had actually attempted this on my mac laptop to be more ideal, I had the same license issue at that point. I did read up on that aspect, noticing about our keys not being recognized at the point I got it by Mac versions. It's unfortunate how this has turned out. My desktop pc is a "dell", and would require me phoning them to tamper with it. It's a waste of space pretty well.

I appreciate your input however. Thanks.

Answer has arrived... well a reply. No answer, of sorts, only suggestions that have lead to nothing.

For the record: Im told both my available licenses are available - to all those who were so sure they knew the issue as to call me stupid about it.

You mentioned Dell. It's not a M5030, is it? I had serious issues with that model, as did everyone, if you read the Dell forums. I hope it's not.

This certainly is a perplexing problem you have with the game. Hopefully it's just the game and not you rig.

Dell.. yes. I have no idea, its my gfs that I inherited. a gift from her brother to her many years ago. Its crap and hate it. Im trying to get this going on my mac but have had issues this route as well. For starters, the link to the mac update 1.5.20 is broken. "Access denied"?

However I dont seem to have any issues getting to the main menu to punch in license key in 1.4.19 build version. However I can't punch in my license key there either, despite it being available on 2 devices.

On your PC, what Windows version do you have? This may help me figure this out for you.

This is getting funny!!! If I went to a store lets say best but and got NHL 14 and I didn't like it or for whatever reason i couldn't get it to work on my ps3 do I have the right to freak out because I spent money on the game NO! Yes I'd be upset but I'd be upset with my self for not reading up on what I'm buying get over it or deal with it refunds are just crazy it's not there fault it's yours!! You spent the money noone put a gun to your head!! God damn people are nuts

Going to best buy to purchase nhl 14, is similar as this sure... But if you can't just buy the disk, pop it in and start playing because something went wrong, then it's not working as friggin intended ******. If it's not working as intended.....

Nhl14 was released with bugs and glitches. Is that what you pay for when you buy the game? How about when you pre order before it's release... I suppose reading up on it will help decide right? I'm sure EA is gonna be like, "so... We have this game... It's kinda broken.... But it's still worth it. Buy it up!"

The problem is cowboy the game ain't broke I've played well into 2022 with no problems and yes it is the same damn thing you can't just return something because you don't like it!! Your just picking apart the game because you don't like it and that's fine but why make a thread about it? Gotta love those tough little kids who talk smack behind a computer screen
