Hard to complain after watching the Broncos clobber the defending Super Bowl champions.

One game does not a season make, though.

Bears could easily be 0-2 v 2-0 but I had them winning the 1st 3 (@PIT) losing the next 4 (@DET, NO, NYG, @WAS), so jury is still out.

A win is a win but wish the raiders would cut down on gadget plays till they can excute better. Happy that the rushing game seems to be back and our defense has done ok so far.

Why does 2-0 feel so much like 0-2?

Sincerely,
Texans fan

My Bills are 1-1 and could very easily be 0-2 or 2-0 or 1-1 the other way. On one hand I'm incredibly optimistic, but the the fan of 21 years has me thinking I'm staring at another 6-10, 7-9 season. Our D is only going to get better when Byrd and Gilmore returns but it's our offense that needs someone to return....maybe Eric Moulds.

I prefer these types of games. It's ironic considering how the season opened with Manning throwing 7 TDs and everybody thought it was a sign of the new NFL. 2 weeks in, not so much.

Texans 2-0, whew that was scary. They need to start faster, or more competently.

Rams 1-1, considering how much this team has sucked since the "Greatest Show" days I am happy.

On the plus side, E.J. Manuel looks very, very impressive. If the Bills have finally found their franchise QB, and I think they have, things should be looking up for you guys.

the cowboys are the same team they have been the last few years. Jerry Jones is the new Al Davis.

I have been following the Chiefs because of 2 guys whom I have grown to respect over the last few years. Alex Smith and Andy Reid. they look good, very good.

Yes they do. I was very surprised. I did not have a lot of respect for Alez Smiths playing ability. Maybe I was wrong?......................................Z

Outside of a couple teams (Jags & Browns) every single team in the league looks like they can compete on any given Sunday. No team looks unbeatable. It's a great time to be a football fan.

Ummmm...will disagree with you. I'd add the Vikings. They have not looked like they could compete every Sunday. Scores may show it...but there is a shot this year that they lose 14-16 games.

Viqueens looked solid on Sunday. Some dumb mistakes by the Bears almost gave them the game, but your D line still looks good. We tend to play good against AP. Ponder is Ponder so you do have that to deal with, you never know which Ponder will play on Sunday.

About Ponder...he will never add anything positive to the game. At his best, he's a 0.0 VORP. At his worst, he's like -255 VORP.

Da Bears

Any team not called the Green Bay A-- Packers and that will be ok with me.
Which MLB team do you like? Take that city's NFL team.
