I haven't had a chance to customize that yet. I was going to use 16 ML team names and logos. For the minors, I was going to use the ML teams corresponding minor league teams and logos. For the college teams, I was going to use a lot of the common ones with logos.

I wish I could find some good college and high school quick starts that I could then use as feeders for my Modern Day MLB setup. Is there anything like this out there?

AA and rookie are the only minors levels. The league includes a 16 team, 2 Div, Col feeder league. All real universities in Canada.

All teams, including University, come with uniforms/caps/logos (many thanks to the guys who did these on the Mod forum).

I ran a number of years tests and players develop just fine with the 2 levels. I like to keep my leagues small, and mostly just use reserve rosters. The reason I added the minors is because the league is set-up as stats only.

It's easy enough to change the settings though if SO isn't your thing.

Play-offs are set for top 3 teams, 1st place gets bye, 2nd vs 3rd in a 3 game series with all 3 games at home of 2nd place team. Winner meets 1st for Confederation Cup. Includes some Canadian touches to the league, such as Top Pitcher gets Ferguson Jenkins Award, Top Hitter - Larry Walker Award. And of course, being a vet myself, I'd be remiss if I didn't include them. Since your league in your League needs a name, I called it the Veterans Memorial League.

Also has custom built schedule - 112 games, 16 games against each team. All series are 4 games, then an off day. So you get off days on weekends sometimes too. Rotations set to 4 man.

Anyway, if someone's interested I'm happy to share.
I'd love that if you care to share? Do you run it along side the MLB? Or do you use it as a major league?

Sure thing - just rebuilding it as I had some problems with a corrupted file. Will be ready before the end of the week.

I've been running it as a major league on it's own.

I'll PM you when it's ready.

Hey Bluenoser, I'd be interested too. That's something I've been trying to do but never had the patience to finish it.

Thanks!

I have an interest in this as well. Glad to see all the QS available so far. I wonder if there is a quickstart available for online leagues that have been around for awhile, to play a solo version of their leagues?

I know there are a goodly amount of good leagues with great history that people could be interested in. Having the full mod of jerseys , hats, logos etc make this a really great idea.. glad we are making progress on this!

TC or whoever - when you have a template or a QS completed, who do send it to and how? I have a combined NCAA/HS template that can be slipped into any modern league, and my 32 MLB QS is almost ready for prime time.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I have a world baseball league quickstart if anyone is interested-- a fictional Canada-US-Mexico League, an eastern european, mediterranean, latin american, an african league, oceania league, many of these have minor leagues, I have financials and PCMs set up. Each league has different rules, all have a schedule found on this forum thanks GMO!, and about 1/2 the teams have logos, that come from the nickname project. The QS is set around 2025.

Wolf, sorry I missed this the last time. If you want post the link to the download in OOTP Mods - Rosters, Photos, and Quick-Starts - OOTP Developments Forums, create a new thread in the mods area for some feedback and information about what folks needs to know about playing in your QS would be a great start.

If you have any other questions or if anyone wishes to do something along those lines, feel free to PM me and I will be glad to get you the info needed.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay, I finally have the CBU ready. Lost my HD and external HD 2 weeks ago. Had to rebuild

As soon as I can find somewhere to upload it, I'll get a link posted.

When you unzip it, check inside the lg folder, because there will be another lg folder. Make sure you take the one from the second layer or it won't work for you.
