Did you use Chambers CW rating?

Mchunu get the best of him using the CW ratings. Historically, it doesn't go well when HW drops in weight.

No, both of them were in the game as HWs in their prime, so that's what I used.

I switched Chambers to CW, but his ratings didn't change. How do I use his CW rating? I only see him in there once, as a HW.

Below are the ratings I see for him, regardless of the weight class I put him in.

At this point, it's obviously too late to sim this properly and promote the results before the fight on Sat., but if I can get a handle on how this works, I can do this for other fights. I admit that while I've played plenty of OOTP in the past, I had never played TBCB before getting the 2013 version from Paul a couple months ago. I'm still learning.

* I was sent a request to rate Chambers at CW for this matchup. The other fighter is only in the database at CW. You have to update you game daily to get the new additions or updates. Chambers is a (5) at CW.

One guy would run the fight once and the other would run it a hundred times. Two mods would be good or someone from the Head Office.

Next one up is August 3rd at Mohegan Sun Casino, CT betwixt Eddie Chambers and Thabiso Mchunu - cruiserweights.

I'm going to be at this fight ringside supporting Tomasz Adamek in his fight (he's a close family friend). Look out for me, I'll be wearing a green polo.

Isn't it on NBC Sports? Hoping to at least see highlights tomorrow on Youtube.

Chambers is a 5 at CW; after tonight, that looks like an accurate rating.

Will you be tweaking Mchunu? He looked really quick in there against "Fast Eddie" Chambers. If I was running that fight on Title Bout, I'd set Chambers at Post-Prime and Mchunu at Pre-Prime using CW ratings. Chambers was totally ineffective.

I was thinking that BradC was going to run the sim of the fight. I can't see summaries for some reason so I didn't bother trying it out. I tend to import only certain fighters as weird things seem to happen to my universe when I import large numbers. I have Mchunu but not Chambers at cruiserweight. This is why I suggested someone on the board with the latest ratings and/or BradC try running a prediction simulation.

I'll watch the fight mostly to watch what punches he throws. From earlier video, he looked like a slugger, but I've received reports stating that he's a boxer/puncher.

Certainly not like any slugger I've ever seen. Counter puncher against Chambers. Slips punches really well; in 10 rounds Chambers was unable to land a single telling blow.

He was bombs away in an earlier fight. All reports that I read stated he was same.

The style seemed a bit awkward, but it was certainly effective against Chambers. Everytime Chambers moved in, he got hit. Then Mchunu would slip a punch, back up, and start the process over again. Chambers could barely lay a glove on him. I couldn't tell whether Mchunu was that much better, or whether it was just a matter of a bad matchup for Chambers. I guess I'd have to watch him fight someone else.

So, the next fight on boxrec.com is Daniel Geale v Darren Barker on 8/17. Any thoughts on setting that one up in TBCB and promoting the result?

I've noticed that I can sim a fight up to 999 times, but not 1,000. I think 100 sims is enough to get a good result. What do others think? Thanks.

well 999 dont cost any more but clearly takes longer, but I agree 100 should be enough to see a clear favorite or a close match

He fights Eric Fields on the last day of August in South Africa for a Silver title. Fields is a good boxer.
