At this point I'm trying just to get enough players to fill the teams from day 1 starting out.
I've got 1 league with 2 divisions, 10 teams each. I tried doing the player origin, but I guess I just cannot pick the right amount to get full 25 player rosters.

Edit...Fantasy draft worked. I'm going to try and hold an Amateur draft and see if pans out as well.

Since there's a no foreign limit based on team, you don't need trading or finances. So you could also create X number of free agents after setting the player origins percentages. Teams will puck up those players. Not sure the specifics of what you're trying to set up.

They will still pick the players up if there is no financials? Also can reserve rosters be turned off if they were turned on by mistake?

And I'm just wanting a true world league with each of these 20 countries having a team, and only being able to ever have players from that country. And I'd obviously like to be able to play it far into the future.

Yes, I just tried it. 8 teams, full rosters. With the origins percentage it creates enough players.

That set up should be possible. It worked in '13. Should still work. Things might get a bit dull without the trading and financial strategies. But that's a matter of preference.

I think they have to be on if you don't have minors. Maybe set the minimum of 15 players.

So if I just have the league generate new FA's every year and have a FA draft every year that should solve my new player issue?

After the season ended, teams released players--assuming ones they don't need--and picked up new ones. I don't think a draft would be necessary.

Something odd I noticed. The history of a South Korean player that was just signed by South Korea says he was released by Dominican Republic. Same with an American players; says he was once released by Canada.

I'm not so worried about that. The online league I play in on 13 has guys with history of them being drafted 1-2 years in the future from when they are actually drafted, and it ends up working just fine.
