Here are 5 ideas, mostly taken from my fictional Hawaiian winter league...

DiamondHeads - As was pointed out in a previous post, this refers to the volcanic cone just south of Waikiki, and is a play on the baseball 'diamond' concept, a la "Diamondbacks" or "Diamond Jaxx".

Hawaiian Hawks - The only hawk that's indigenous to Hawaii.

(Fighting) Nenes - The state bird of Hawaii, a.k.a. the Hawaiian Goose.

Menehune - Mythical dwarf-like creatures from native Hawaiian folklore.

And finally, a fun homophonic combo...

Oahu Wahoos - A tropical game fish (although technically, in Hawaii, they call it an "Ono".)
