You might have to configure your firewall to allow OOTP access. I wasn't able to activate until I did.

Never changed anything, just kept on pasting it in every five minutes or so, and after about half an hour it worked.

tried a minimum of 30 times. wont work.

firewall is off, I run it as administrator, i rebooted...

here's something I found in the 'Activation problems':

If you mistakenly bought the Linux version (from PISD), you won't be able to activate the Windows version using these codes. Go here to find out how to resolve this.

Obviously, there's SUPPOSED to be a link somewhere, but there isn't. I should note that on my confirmation e-mail, it states:

Order Item Details
OOTP Baseball 12 PC & Mac [OOTP12]

But there's a PISD logo when opening the game.

Frankly, the manual process is ridiculous and would take me like 45-60 mins of running back and forth, and then I still dont know whether it'll finally work.

Any help to get this going would be GREATLY appreciated

I'm having a problem now too.

Earlier today, I actually got the game activated after several tries. I created a new fictional league and got things going but it crashed soon after I got the game running. When I signed back in to the game, it is now making me re-enter the activation code (continue game, new game, etc. are not available as options).

Anyway, I've been trying to re-activate the game now for some time and I keep getting the message "Try again..."

We'll see.

If you purchased "OOTP Baseball 12 PC & Mac", you have the correct license for PC & Mac. The PISD logo is there because OOTP uses the PISD libraries for platform support.

Did you enter the correct serial number? It's the OOTP12-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxnumber. Copy and paste it to prevent typos.

well, ofc i copy and paste...its been 50 tries and I figure I'll try tomorrow at about 10am (german time). my guess is the servers shouldnt be overloaded then

I had a trailing space on my copy. Took me 5 tries to find it.

I have been trying to register for the past two hours and I get that same message. I have opened my firewall / copy & pasted directly from my email and still nothing. Is there a maunal activation option? Are the servers not abel to handle this or what?

Quick fix for people having problems with activation.

Disable your internet connection and activate like you normally would. Now you should get a error message saying that no connection can be made to the esellerate server. Press cancel and a brand new screen will appear with the option to register on the esellerate website. Enable your connection and follow the instructions.

Found this out when i tried to activate with my router turned off

In regard to my problem above:

I reinstalled the game (didn't re-download, I just re-installed from the previous file). And now, all the options such as create new league, new game...all that stuff...are now available.

Thus, after I re-installed the game, somehow, my original activation became valid again and I now don't need to re-activate my license.

Odd.

Who knows the ways of computers.

I'm getting really upset right now, I have tried everything and its not working, Maybe I don't understand the whole turning your internet off thing.... I have the PC version....... Someone please help......3 hrs now and can't get it to work
