Ghost players reduce a lot of tedious (and typically meaningless) micromanagement, allowing more seasons to be played, which increases my quantity of enjoyment from the game. There's also the side benefit of it protecting players from getting run completely into the ground by the AI.
I consider it a vital feature, one that I wouldn't play without. Last edited by snepp; 07-26-2011 at 11:01 AM. |

having a team made up of mostly ghost players just makes sure that team finishs last. Plus all the news items about how so and so just 2 hit my team of ghosts gets old real quick.
Have noticed my pitchers records end up worse off because of trhe ghosts playing behind him or not giving him any run support, so it has to affect them somehow. Not sure how it would affect the batters, as not sure if it takes into effect if someone good is batting next or if their are runners on base, but if it does it must effect some of the devolpment as stats wouldn't be as good. what are the rattings of the ghosts anyways? |

Ghosts come in handy for 2 of my leagues where I only have AAA and 5-10 players at AAA. |
