Middleweigth Prelims- Month 1
Damien Walec vs Les Darcy
At 6'3 Walec is extremely tall for a Middleweight and he used his jab and reach to pepper Les from behind his southpaw stance in the opening round. Darcy forged inside in the second and scored with a vicious uppercut before Walec stormed back with three wicked straight left hands that had the Aussie fighter staggered at the bell. The Omen battered Darcy in the third with a stream of combinations before the fourth saw them trade toe to toe on even terms for much of the round. A double hook to the body and another to the head had Walec in a bad way at the end of a fifth round that was Darcy's best to date. After an even sixth Walec took control behind his stalwart jab and left cross and as Darcy began to tire he stopped pushing as hard to get inside and Walec cruised down the stretch to an impressive UD, 119-109, 119-110 & 118-110

Middleweight Prelims- Month 2
Aaron Wade 0-1 vs Damien Walec 1-0
Walec drilled Wade with several straight left hands during an overwhelming opening round that almost saw the fight stopped. Wade bounced back in the second and they traded bombs on the inside for the full three minutes(15-15). Walec regained command in the third but towards the end of the round an uppercut opened a nasty cut over Damien's left eye. He brushed off the wound and proceeded to batter wade until finally dropping him twice in the eighth with left hands and securing the stoppage moments after the second knockdown with one more clean left hand.

Middleweight Prelims- Month 3
Damien Walec 2-0 (1) vs Bill Chesterfield Goode 1-1 (1)
The Omen was once again spreading horror in the opening round as he repeatedly drilled Goode with straight left hands that opened a foul cut over his right eye and swelling under it. Goode's crude attempts to get inside were deftly avoided as Walec continued to pepper him until his eye turned into a grotesque mess and the fight was stopped in the fourth round.

Middleweight Prelims- Month 4
Damien Walec 3-0 (2) vs Joey Giardello 3-0
Giardello proved a difficult puzzle in the first two rounds as he effectively jabbed and used his defense to thwart Walec's aggression. Damien came on in round three scoring with his patented straight left hand. Giardello ducked into a short hook early in the fourth that put him down for a four count and scored with several hard combos over the remainder of the round. From there Joey was in a mainly defensive posture and Walec out-worked him en route to another impressive and comprehensive win on points, 98-91, 97-92 & 97-93

Middleweight Prelims- Month 5
Ronnie Harris 3-1 vs Damien Walec 4-0 (2)
Walec commanded the ring in the opening round but it was competitive and Harris opened a nasty gash on The Omens forehead in the closing seconds. While the blood continued to flow, Walec shrugged it off and administered a nasty beating to Ronnie, opening a cut over his left eye in the fourth and dropping him three times before the ref stopped the one sided affair in the eighth with Harris catching a hiding along the ropes after being floored twice in the round.

Damien Walec 5-0 (3) vs Wilfred Benitez 60-5 (38)
Walec dwarfed El Radar and the results were predictable, Walec battered Benitez with straight left hands and hooks to the body, dropping Wilfred three times during the noncompetitive affair and only the Puerto Ricans legendary defense allowed him to hear the lopsided UD for the Omen. 100-87, 99-88 & 99-89

Matthew Macklin 23-4 (17) vs Damien Walec 7-0 (4)
The Omen continued to dominate his competition, out-boxing Macklin in the first two rounds from range before breaking his nose in the third and pummeling him with both hands (3-31). Then in the fourth a straight left hand put Matthew down for a five count and the follow up assault forced the TKO.

Middleweight Prelims- Month 9
Don Lee 6-2 (5) vs Damien Walec 8-0 (5)
Early in the opening round Lee connected with a vicious uppercut that buckled Walec's legs and Don carried the entire stanza with powerful hooks and uppercuts while Damien maintained a defensive posture. Don took the second as well and he landed at least three nasty crosses as Walec struggled to get anything going. The Omen got his jab going a bit in the third and while Lee scored with a couple of hard body shots it was an even round. Thirty seconds into the fourth Walec slipped a right hand and came back with a short hook that put Lee on the canvas for a six count. That was the end of the good start for Lee as Damien pummeled him for the remainder of the round and for the opening minute of the fifth until a straight left hand snapped back Lee's head and his neck went limp prompting the ref to step in after walec's toughest fight to date.

Damien Walec 9-0 (6) vs Bert Colima 1-7-1
This was a mismatch on paper and it played out that way. Walec dominated from the outset, floored Colima with a combo in the third and twice more in round nine that led to the TKO victory.

Another easy match up for The Omen as he punished Grim from the outset, he was never able to floor Joe but the ref stepped in and stopped the gruesome mismatch early in the fourth round with Grim absorbing bomb after bomb in the corner.

Middleweight Prelims- Month 13
Anthony Mundine 24-6-2 (5) vs Damien Walec 12-0 (9)
Mundine showed no interest in engaging the Omen, holding and using his legs early on as walec pressed the issue and scored with straight left hands. Damien dropped Mundine with short hook in the sixth and that took Anthony's survival instincts to their highest level. Walec kept pressing but his reluctant foe managed to last the distance and hear the lopsided call of the judges. 100-87 & 99-89 x2

Middleweight Prelims- Month 14
Damien Walec 13-0 (9) vs Ted Wright 11-2 (4)
Wright obliged the aggressive Walec as they traded blows early and often in the opening stanza. With a minute left a three punch combo opened a bad cut over Walec's right eye and Ted scored with another searing salvo before the bell. Wright was fighting confidently in round two until he ducked into a wicked uppercut that sent him staggering into the ropes, Damien flailed away with both hands and connected with several power shots, but Wright was able to remain upright until his minute reprieve. The next three rounds were impossible to score with The Omen throwing harder and more frequent punches while Wright countered and defended with style. A short hook reopened Walec's cut late in the fifth and the doctor was called to look at it. Feeling desperate, Walec was a tornado in round six, blistering Wright to the head and body with murderous combinations. The next two rounds followed that same pattern and while Wright probably gave Damien his toughest fight to date, a straight left hand put him flat on his back for the ten count in round nine.

Damien Walec 15-0 (11) vs Frank Tate 9-5-1 (4)
Another batch of fights, another dominant showing by the Omen. He was never able to floor Tate and Frank had a couple of decent rounds late, but Walec piled up points behind his long southpaw jab and straight left hand en route to a concise UD, 99-91 x2 & 97-93 Your guy is a beast.

Damien Walec 16-0 (11) vs Lou Woods 3-13
Walec came in uncharacteristically out of shape, but it didn't matter. He dominated Woods in a lethargic performance, but all the same his skills were evident in the UD whitewashing, 100-90, 99-90 & 98-92
