AND THERE is what is wrong with America's economy right now.

Not blaming Wal-Mart or Big Lots, or anyone in particular, etc. But American shoppers have been programmed to wait for something until it is dirt cheap or free. They have ZERO regard for what drives businesses..and DRIVES economic growth!... which keeps them employed! haha.

I'm really looking forward to hear from Markus what's new this season..I have faithfully bought every version since Season Ticket, but this could be the year i stop unless there is something really good that i can use. Since i mainly sim my leagues i don't see what else there could be for me....

Dont think it will matter cuz i plan on getting 12, but can a season go from 11 to 13 w/o having 12 in between?

If I'm not mistaken, the pre-order price is usually a discounted price. The game may go on sale later, but it will be so much later that it isn't worth waiting for in my opinion, and the later discout price is not much lower than the pre-order price, if at all.

I've been pre-ordering since about OOTP 4 or 5 and have never been disappointed by the content or the pricing.

That's a very good point. It's so much easier if you have a progression of versions, and I am sure that's intentional. Else, why not an "Import OOTP 9 or 8 Game" on the main screen? I don't blame them; it is a business after all.

This is the giveback for the above, however, IMO.

Don't think I would ever skip a version. I play this game enough, I almost just consider it a $40 a year subscription.

I say it every year and Markus always seems to throw something out there and i buy once again. Best deal around considering the hours spent playing..

C'mon Markus, you know you want to throw us a bone before we pre-order right?
I've been playing Football Manager to get my sports sim fix. I was excited that I'd get a high draft pick when I finished near the bottom of the league...kind of a nasty surprise when I realized they didn't have a draft...

I believe you can use the demo to upgrade you leagues. For example if you have version 10 and not 11, you can get the OOTP 11 demo and convert your saved game. Then you can buy 12 and open up your game you converted with the OOTP 11 demo.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I'd probably buy the next version without even looking at the new features list. I figure I spend about $.25/hour of use. A great deal in my book, and a company I want to see prosper. Unlike the oil companies that cost me about $6/hour of use.

I hear ya, I am hooked on this game compared to 5, I had High Heat 99-2003. the last being the best. hh2k4 took away manage only i hate playing out games. Depending on new features and if the current mods will work with 12 i will buy 12 and of course the 2d 3d 13.

I know this much if 12 has an In game cities Editor u guys will have to beat me up not to get the 1st copy.....if this game could only be bought in a Big Box Store i would sabotage each of your methods of transport to get to the store so i could be the 1st in line. I want to finish my 2204 EBL cities this yr.
