Anybody else waiting for the "big update" before starting a game? - Page 2

I have been, I took a break from the league I had started initially and have just been fine tuning my universe (roster/player updates and stuff like that). It's not a big deal really, I actually like having some time to digest how the season progresses and make changes to account for things no one could have ever really predicted as well as test out different settings and stuff like that.

Definitely not waiting. For what? I dont even know whats going to be updated. Plus the game is amazing as it is. I could see people waiting if they weren't enjoying the game. But you shouldnt not enjoy the game because you are anticipating something better.

As a new OOTP player, I'm enjoying the game right now as is. I will play a new save when the update comes, but this is a great game and I'm really enjoying myself

I'm waiting for the storyline engine to be explained/enhanced before I start my real league I've been thinking about. Until then, I'm content to play around with the game.

FWIW, I believe I saw this before the 11.1.8 patch. I have been trying to find the thread where people who have experienced the same problem discuss it, but to no avail.
